An article of manufacture that allows mask-wearers to wear an air filtration mask or a high air filtration mark without dealing with the discomfort and inconvenience of using attached loops. A loop-free mask is adapted to be reusable and releasably engage, via medical-grade adhesive strips, to the buccal and infraorbital regions on both sides of the face.

A mask for inhibiting the transmission of droplets including: a first wall including a first portion; a second wall including a second portion; wherein the first and second wall are connected to each other at or near their peripheries to define a space therebetween; an opening which extends between the first and second portions and which, in use, overlies a user's mouth; a first connection which connects the first portion to the second portion to inhibit communication between the opening and the space; a transparent wall which covers the opening; and a second connection which connects the transparent wall to the first or second walls.

A face masking device for filtering air and infusing lavender thereinto includes a facemask, which is positionable on a face of a user. The facemask comprises a panel having a pair of straps engaged thereto and extending singly from opposed edges thereof. A pair of connectors is engaged singly to the straps distal from the panel. The connectors are selectively mutually couplable. The straps can be positioned around a head of the user, positioning the connectors to be mutually coupled so that the facemask is removably coupled to the head of the user with the panel positioned over a nose and mouth of the user. At least one of an aroma compound and an essential oil is infused into the panel. The panel filters particulates from air passing therethrough while releasing the at least one of the aroma compound and the essential oil into the air.

A medical mask restoring device (1) includes an electric corona radiating net (2) producing an electric corona, an ion transmitter (12) connected with the electric corona radiating net, and at least one electricity supply (11) connected with the ion transmitter. Thus, the medical mask restoring device provides a restoring effect to the medical mask (A).

The present invention relates to a system for supplying tailor-made safety facemask kit or a tailor made mask liner. The facemask kit includes a moldable strip liner. The moldable strip liner can be molded easily by heating at certain temperatures. The heating means can be either by microwave, induction heating, or electromagnetic field. The moldable strip liner can be supplied either separately or can be inserted/attached to the face mask. The tailor made safety facemask comprises a transparent pre-cut sheet, an upper mask liner and a nose-part. The facemask parts are customized and manufactured to fit single individual face geometry or a group of individual face geometries. In several other embodiments of the present invention, the upper mask liner can be made up of heat moldable materials, which can easily formed by heating below 100 C. A method of covering a face by using a tailor made mask liner is also disclosed.

A customizable mask system can include a facemask, such as a filtering facepiece respirator, that has a first set of fastening elements integrated into an internal surface of the facemask. The system can also include a customizable mask band adapted to cover at least a portion of an external surface of the facemask. The mask band can have one or more attachment portions positioned on the mask band in locations that correspond to positions of the first set of fastening elements on the facemask and a second set of fastening elements integrated into the attachment portions. The attachment portions of the mask band can wrap around side edges of the external surface of the facemask such that the second set of fastening elements mate with the first set of fastening elements.

The mask of the present disclosure is adapted to be worn on a face including a main body that covers at least a portion of the face, and the main body includes a resin film having air permeability through the thickness thereof. The resin film is a non-porous film having through holes extending through the thickness of the film. The diameter of the through holes is 0.01 μm or more and 30 μm or less. The density of the through holes in the resin film is 10 holes/cm.sup.2 or more and 1×10.sup.8 holes/cm.sup.2 or less. The mask of the present disclosure is completely different in structure from conventional masks, has high flexibility in the design of various properties such as shielding ability, air permeability, transparency, and sound permeability, and is capable, for example, of exhibiting high shielding ability, high air permeability, high transparency, and high sound permeability.

The present invention relates to an exhaust apparatus for releasable or permanent connection to a personal protection respiratory device that defines a filtered air volume adjacent to the face of a wearer and comprises at least one exhalation valve. The exhaust apparatus comprising a powered blower in fluid connection with the at least one exhalation valve, the blower being operable to draw a portion of the wearer's exhaled breath through the at least one exhalation valve. Using such an exhaust apparatus for releasable connection to a personal protection respiratory device improves the comfort and overall experience for respirator wearers who use the respirator for intensive work, and/or for long periods of time, and/or in hot and humid environmental conditions by removing the heat and moisture build-up inside the respirator.

A thermoplastic core-sheath fiber comprises: a polymer fiber core having a coextensive sheath layer disposed thereon, and an electrostatic charge enhancing additive. The sheath layer may comprise poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) and the fiber core and the sheath layer have different compositions. At least one of the fiber core or the sheath layer comprises an electret charge. A nonwoven fibrous web comprising the core-sheath fibers and a respirator including the nonwoven fibrous web are also disclosed.
