Debarking Chain Having Bent Links
A debarking chain having bent links; the bent links being bent either right or left, from end to end at a bend angle of from about 5 to about 90 degrees to provide a flail type debarking chain having protruding edges or corners that increase the efficiency in which bark is removed from logs during debarking operations. Bent link chains include right bent links that are bent to the right proximate the middle of the link, where the weld is preferably located, when the link is viewed from the side with the weld on the far side and left bent links that are bent to the left proximate the middle of the link, where the weld is preferably located, when the link is viewed from the side with the weld on the far side. Disclosed inventions also include a debarking drum having a plurality of debarking chains having at least two bent links, as well as debarking devices having such a debarking drum and methods of making and using the same. The debarking device preferably includes a chipping device and methods of using the same in conjunction with using such bent link debarking chain.

CHAIN AND CHAIN TRANSMISSION DEVICE
An object of the present invention is to provide a chain and a chain transmission device capable of reducing sliding resistance of the chain to a guide lip portion and stably maintaining an oil film between the guide lip portion and an outer plate. Provided is a chain 20 wherein a plurality of link plates 40 and 60 include outer plates 60, each of the outer plates 60 has a pair of front and rear pin holes 61 into which connecting pins 50 are inserted, a guide-side end surface 62 that faces the side of a traveling guide surface 81a of a chain guide 80, and a concave portion 63 that is formed in an outer surface of the outer plate 60, and the concave portion 63 is formed in an area between the pin holes 61 and the guide-side end surface 62 in a plate height direction.
FLAIL CHAIN LINK WITH POLYGONAL CROSS-SECTION
A flail assembly for a debarking machine includes a flail shaft that is adapted to be rotated about a flail axis of rotation. Attached to the flail shaft is a flail chain that includes a plurality of interconnected links, at least some of which have a polygonal cross-section.
Camera mount
A camera mount, assembly, and method for supporting a number of cameras side-by-side along a linear or curvilinear path. The camera mount includes a rigid body having a tab and a coupling flange extending from opposite ends thereof. Tabs and flanges of adjacent mounts are overlapped and coupled via a fastener installed therethrough. A spring washer is installed on the fastener to preload the joint against relative movements, but the mounts are pivotable by hand about an axis formed by the fastener. Angular orientation between adjacent mounts can be defined using a gauge inserted between opposing faces of the mounts. Cameras are disposable on each mount and retained thereon by an elastic band extending over the camera and retained on catches provided on each side of the mount. The assembly of camera mounts is substantially rigid thus requiring few support devices.
Roller Chain Outer Plate Links: Arrangements, Systems of Use, and Methods
Roller chain outer plate links including a cable support portion are disclosed. Example roller chain outer plate links include a link portion, a cable support portion oriented projecting from an outer face of the link portion, and a joint at one of the lead/tail ends of the link portion. The link portion, joint, and cable support portions each comprise portions integral with remaining portions of the outer plate link. Cable support portions of the roller chain outer plate links support a cable extending between components of an apparatus.

CHAIN BENDING LIMITING ATTACHMENT
A chain bending limiting attachment includes first bending limiting members and second bending limiting members. The first and second bending limiting members are detachably attached to a chain to be arranged in a series arrangement direction. Each first bending limiting member includes a first engaging portion. When the chain bends in a first direction, the first engaging portion engages with another first bending limiting member adjacent to the first bending limiting member in the series arrangement direction to limit bending of the chain in the first direction. Each second bending limiting member includes a second engaging portion. When the chain bends in a second direction, the second engaging portion engages with another second bending limiting member adjacent to the second bending limiting member in the series direction to limit bending of the chain in the second direction.
