Self-locking figure eight hook
A self-locking hook includes an S shaped member having a first surface and a second surface, a first portion for receiving a support member and a second portion for supporting an object; a pivot pin extending through an opening in the S shaped member and extending from the first surface and the second surface; a first locking member held by the pivot pin to pivot against the first surface to defines an opening so that the first portion can engage the support member, to a position where the first locking member and the first portion form a closed loop to surround the support member; and a second locking member held by the pivot pin to pivot against the second surface to define an opening so that the second portion can receive an object to be supported, to a second position where the second locking member and the second portion form a closed loop.
RAPIDLY RELEASABLE LATCHING ARRANGEMENT FOR A COMPONENT FROM LIFTING, LASHING OR FASTENING TECHNOLOGY
The invention relates to a latching arrangement, in particular for a component from lifting, lashing or fastening technology. The latching arrangement has a first component provided at its one end with at least one laterally protruding, spring-tensioned latching projection, and a second component provided with a receptacle configured to receive in an insertion direction and to fasten rotatably the end of the first component. The second component comprises a latching recess for the latching projection, wherein the latching recess is bounded at least at one side by a release shoulder displaceable into the latching recess which is provided with a hand switch arranged so as to be accessible from outside the latching arrangement, which hand switch is connected in a movement-transmitting manner to the release shoulder and closes the receptacle. By simple actuation of the hand switch, the latching can be repeatedly and easily released.
COMPONENT FOR LIFTING, LASHING OR STOP TECHNOLOGY, PARTICULARLY SHACKLES FOR OUTDOOR OR OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS
The present invention relates to a component for lifting, lashing or stop technology, in particular a shackle, for outdoor or offshore applications. Thus, a component for lifting, lashing or stop technology is provided and comprises a main body having an opening and at least one closable passage that further comprises a closing element by means of which the passage is closed at a closing position. A closure through which the closing element is held at the closing position is provided such that it is rotatable relative to the main body and secured against opening of the passage, and a closure lock is provided, which is automatically activated at the closing position and through which the closure is blocked at the closing position, said closure lock comprising a grip element used for releasing the closure lock and configured for operation by hand without the use of a tool.
Chain shackle
A invention relates to a chain shackle for fastening a hoist chain of a chain hoist to a hoisting member or the chain hoist. The chain shackle includes two identical shackle halves installable against each other to work together in such a manner that they form between them a first space for one chain loop or chain loop half of the hoist chain to lock it against the hoisting direction or force. The first space is open in a first direction in the longitudinal direction of the chain shackle. A second space is connected to the first space and intended for a second hoist chain loop that is coupled with the first chain loop or is to be coupled with a chain loop half. The second space is open in both longitudinal directions of the hoist chain.

The first space is open in a first direction in the longitudinal direction of the chain shackle. A second space is connected to the first space and intended for a second hoist chain loop that is coupled with the first chain loop or is to be coupled with a chain loop half. The second space is open in both longitudinal directions of the hoist chain.
Extended-life tire chain and method of extending the life of a tire chain
An extended-life tire chain and method of extending the life of a tire chain. An extended-life tire chain has a plurality of chain links, a plurality of twin clevises each secured to two of the links, and a plurality of clevis pins each having a head on one of its extremities. Each twin clevis has two receptacles. Each clevis pin is removably disposed in a different one of the receptacles. The twin clevises are oriented such that, when the tire chain is installed on a tire, the heads project radially away from a tread surface of the tire.

Block lock with a twist lock
The invention relates to a block lock for connecting two chain ends which comprises two block lock halves which extend in the longitudinal direction and which engage with each other in a positive fit via pins and grooves and lock to form two seating openings, each one to receive a chain link. The seating openings are separated by a crossbar which extends from one of the block lock halves to the opposite block lock half, wherein the block lock halves are coupled so as to rotate about the crossbar and/or on an end of a block lock half, a pin which protrudes in the direction of the opposite block lock half, which engages laterally in one lateral seating groove formed on one end of the opposite block lock half, when carrying out a relative rotational movement of both block lock halves.

Hook and chain assemblies and methods of making such
The present disclosure is directed to hook and chain assemblies, including those suitable for use in food processing environments. The chain passes through a hook body, where it is secured by a retaining pin when under tension or load. The chain can be quickly and easily removed for servicing, cleaning, and sanitation of the hook body.
