Swivel shackle can be configured to accept different sizes and designs of the shackles. The swivel shackle configurations can include a swivel assembly, which can include one or more coupling interfaces to allow coupling with shackles having different arc sizes and/or different designs.

Device for determining tension on anchoring lines

It is reported in the present invention a device (A) to monitor the tension on an anchoring line (LA) of a floating platform for oil exploration or production at sea, which is mounted at a point on the anchoring line without it becoming an integral part thereof, which basically comprises: an upper bar (1) and a lower bar (2), which are interconnected at one end by a hydraulic cylinder (CH1) and on the other end by a solid vertical bar (4).

A mechanical connecting link for tow straps and pintle hitches configured to quickly and easily disassemble even during complex pulling scenarios. The mechanical connecting link also is configured to retain its structural integrity even during heavy loads. The mechanical connecting link has at least two modular wide body connector components on which looped tow straps may engage. The modular wide body connector component configured to keep the bend radius of any engaged tow strap large enough to prevent abrasion and to resist damage to the tow strap loop during pulling scenarios.

Connector

The invention relates to a connector, such as a subsea connector (100), for connecting a line or lines such as mooring lines (140), to a subsea structure (145), such as a submerged turret loading or a submerged turret production buoy. The invention also relates to associated apparatus, structures and methods. The subsea connector (100) comprises a first portion (105) and a second portion (110) and means (115) for connecting the first (105) and second portions (110). The means (115) for connecting comprise at least part of a through-passage (120) in the second portion (110). The first portion may comprise means (125) for connection to one or more lines (140), such as mooring lines, allowing rotational movement around or about a transverse axis of the first portion (105) with respect to the line (140). The second portion (110) may comprise means (130) for connection to a subsea structure (145) allowing rotational movement around or about a transverse axis of the second portion (110) with respect to the subsea structure (145). In some examples, the transverse axis of the first portion (105) may be substantially perpendicular to the transverse axis of the second portion (110).

A clevis structure includes a main body, a bridge member and a load member. The bridge member has a base section and at least one arm section pivotally connected with the main body, whereby the bridge member and the main body can freely swing relative to each other. The base section is formed with a guide slot extending to the arm section. The arm section is further formed with a through hole in a position where the arm section is pivotally connected with the main body. The through hole has a diameter larger than a width of the guide slot. The load member has two ends, one of which is enlarged to form a pivotal hanging head section and the other of which is formed as a connection ring. A neck section is formed between the pivotal hanging head section and the connection ring.

A swivel comprises a first body component and a second body component with an interconnection assembly for interconnecting the first and second body components and to allow mutual rotation of the first and second components about a swivel axis. The swivel further includes a rotation limiting arrangement which, in a release condition, allows free mutual rotation of the first and second body components and in a first or a second locking condition restricts mutual rotation of the first and second body components. A user control is operable to selectively cause the rotation limiting arrangement to adopt one of a locking condition and the release condition. In the first locking condition, the rotation limiting arrangement prevents mutual rotation of the first and the second body components and in the second locking condition, the rotation limiting arrangement, allows limited mutual rotation of the first and second body components by less than 360.
