Bicycle chain
An outer link plate for a bicycle chain is provided. The outer link plate has an interior surface configured to face another counterpart outer link plate in an assembled state and an exterior surface opposite to the interior surface. The outer link plate has an outer perimeter, and first and second end portions including respective first and second openings each having corresponding parallel center axes. An intermediate portion is provided interconnecting the first end portion and the second end portion. The intermediate portion has an axially recessed portion formed along the outer perimeter on the exterior surface, the intermediate portion having a pair of intermediate edges formed along the outer perimeter, the axially recessed portion being formed on at least one of the intermediate edges and including a chamfered portion connecting the at least one of the intermediate edges to the exterior surface of the outer link plate.

Metal component and method for producing same
The invention relates to a method for producing a metal component coated by a hard-material coating, which method comprises the method steps of preparing an anti-caking agent, adding the prepared anti-caking agent to a powder mixture, providing the powder mixture, providing the substrate made of metal, heating the powder and the substrate in a heating device, depositing a coating on the substrate, the coating having a higher hardness than the substrate, and cooling the substrate.

Anchor chain
The invention relates to the field of anchor chains, and more particularly an anchor chain (1) comprising a first plurality of links (3) and, at the end of the chain, a second plurality of links (4) comprising at least three successive links (4) in each of which at least one property selected from its bar diameter and the elastic limit of its material is substantially greater than in each of the links (3) of the first plurality, in order to improve the ability of the chain to withstand fatigue by bending of the links (4) in the second plurality.

SUSPENSION RING FOR MULTISTRAND LIFTING TACKLE
A suspension ring for multistrand lifting tackle comprises two parallel rectilinear legs connected to one another at their ends by arcuate connecting legs. A lower connecting leg is along a longitudinal center line of the ring, extending as a circular segment in the central region of its extent and in the two regions in which it merges into each of the two legs. The radii of the rounded portions on the inside of the ring are less than half the internal width of the ring but greater than half the diameter of the legs, and the central region in the form of a circular segment is connected at its ends to the transitional region as a circular segment to the adjacent leg via a rectilinear intermediate segment of the connecting leg. An angle of the intermediate segment ranges from 50 to 75 to the longitudinal center line of the ring.
