MESH HARNESS SYSTEMS

One embodiment of the present invention is related to a harness system including a waist member and a leg loop member. The two leg loop members are configured to encircle the legs of the user and are coupled to the waist member. The leg loop members each comprise a net-leg region, a waist coupling region, and two net-waist transition regions. The net-leg region comprises a load bearing net structure having a plurality of independent recesses defined by an intercoupled mesh material. The waist member may also include a similar net-waist region, leg coupling region, and two net-leg transition regions. The net-leg and net-waist regions may include at least one of edge tape, shape mesh, proximal fabric, and distal fabric. The net-waist transition regions and the net-leg transition regions may comprise either a non-stitch transition or a stitch coupling to the waist and leg coupling regions respectively.

Gear loop

A gear loop for use in a climbing harness or any other recreational or commercial harness or belt and generally comprises a U shaped body, wherein the body is made of a first predetermined material. The gear loop body also has a first end and a second end. The gear loop further comprises an end member attached to the first end and the second end of the body. The end member is made of a second predetermined material. The end member is formed, such that it allows the gear loop to fold in a predetermined direction with relation to a harness.

Safety harness assembly

A safety harness assembly to improve the comfort of the user of a saddle which supports a person who is positioned in a tree. The saddle comprises a primary support, which comprises upper and lower straps secured together to form a closed loop. A panel is attached to and extends between the upper and lower straps. The closed loop includes a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge to which is secured a bridge line that in turn can be secured to a tree. A cross strap is attached to and extends between the upper and lower straps. The cross strap retains the primary support in a stowed configuration and is reversibly stretchable to position the primary support in a deployed configuration when the primary support forms a cradle for the buttocks. A secondary support retains the primary support upon the user.
