Gear for a gear train
A gearwheel for a gear system for a planetary gear system of a chassis assistance system. The gearwheel is divided into at least a first spur gear and a second spur gear which are spaced apart from one another along a common rotational axis. The gearwheel has, in addition, an open spring ring with a first end, which is supported in a circumferential direction against the first spur gear, and a second end, which is supported in the direction opposite to the circumferential direction against the second spur gear in such manner that by rotating the spur gears, relative to one another about the common rotational axis, the spring ring can be stressed in order to exert a restoring torque on the spur gears. A recess is formed on at least one of the spur gears for holding part of the spring ring.
Gear systems
The present disclosure relates to gear systems. In at least one embodiment, a gear system includes a first shaft disposed through an orifice of a first gear. The first gear has a first surface and a second surface disposed opposite the first surface, and the second surface has a plurality of teeth. The gear system includes a second gear having a first surface and a second surface disposed opposite the first surface, and the first surface has a plurality of teeth. The gear system has a carrier connected to the first shaft at the first surface of the carrier. The gear system has a plurality of planetary gears connected to the carrier. The gear system includes a bracket connected to the first gear at the first end of the bracket. The first shaft and the second shaft rotate on an axis.
HIGH POWER EPICYCLIC GEARBOX AND OPERATION THEREOF
An engine for an aircraft includes an engine core having a turbine, a compressor, and a core shaft connecting the turbine to the compressor; a fan located upstream of the engine core, the fan having a plurality of fan blades; and a gearbox. The gearbox is an epicyclic gearbox and comprises a sun gear, a plurality of planet gears, a ring gear, and a planet carrier on which the planet gears are mounted. The radial bending stiffness of the planet carrier is equal to or greater than 1.20×10.sup.9 N/m, and/or the tilt stiffness of the planet carrier is greater than or equal to 6.00×10.sup.8 Nm/rad. A method of operation of such an engine is also disclosed.
BRAKE DEVICE
A planetary gear speed reducing mechanism installed in a disc brake as a brake device includes a small diameter shaft portion to which rotation from an electric motor is transmitted, and a sun gear to which rotation from the small diameter shaft portion is transmitted. The small diameter shaft portion has outer diameter that is smaller than tip diameter of the sun gear. It is therefore possible to reduce torque loss from the electric motor, for example, during operation of a parking brake, and repress a deterioration in torque transmission efficiency.
POWER TRANSMISSION MODULE FOR AN AIRCRAFT TURBOMACHINE
A power transmission module for an aircraft, the module including a torque input connected to a turbine shaft, a first torque output and a second torque output, the power transmission module including a mechanical reducer including a sun gear forming the torque input, and planet gears carried by a planet carrier, wherein each of the planet gears includes at least three independent toothings and further includes a first toothing meshed with the sun gear, a second toothing meshed with an element forming one of the torque outputs, and a third toothing meshed with another element
Actuation mechanism
An actuation mechanism for use in a vehicle. The actuation mechanism includes one or more motors having an output shaft with a sun gear. At least a portion of the sun gear is drivingly connected to at least a portion of one or more planetary gears. The one or more planetary gears are drivingly connected to at least a portion of a carrier, a fixed non-rotating ring gear and an output gear. The disclosure further relates to a method of operating an actuation mechanism that is drivingly connected to at least a portion of a vehicle parking mechanism. The method includes providing an actuation mechanism, providing a parking mechanism and one or more sensors that are operably configured to collect an amount of data to be analyzed. Based on the data analyzed, one or more failures within the parking mechanism may be determined and an alert may be sent.
