Safety Harness with Pseudo-Crossover Ventral Straps and a Securing Portion
A fall-protection safety harness is configured so that when the harness is worn by a user, a first ventral strap of the harness extends from the right shoulder of the user to the right hip of the user and a second ventral strap of the harness extends from the left shoulder of the user to the left hip of the user, wherein a first buckle portion is mounted on the first ventral strap and a second buckle portion is mounted on the second ventral strap. The first and second buckle portions are being detachably attached to each other to form a ventral buckle, wherein the first and second ventral straps and the first and second buckle portions are configured so that the ventral buckle is at least generally aligned with a sagittal plane of the user and harness. Each of the buckle portions comprise a vertically-elongated slot that is oriented within plus or minus 20 degrees of a vertical axis of the harness, wherein two layered portions of at least one of the ventral straps being in an overlapping relation pass through the vertical slot thereby forming a securing portion on the ventral strap, wherein the harness further comprises a strap securing means and wherein the strap securing means and the securing portion of the at least one ventral strap are configured and arranged such that the at least one buckle part is secured to the at least ventral strap.
HARNESSES
A harness for supporting a person working at height is disclosed. The harness includes a waist belt, a pair of leg loops and a ventral attachment assembly. The ventral attachment assembly includes a flexible structural component, typically a webbing loop that is secured to the waist belt, and that may be permanently sewn to form a lower bight within, and at least one upper bight that provides a connection point through which loads can be transferred into the waist band. The harness further includes one or a pair of link components, each being connected to a connecting piece and to at least one of the leg loops. The component or components are capable of acting in tension to transfer load from the waist and/or leg loops to the ventral attachment assembly.
Fall arrest system
A fall arrest system for use with a platform includes a harness configured to be worn by an operator, a first bracket and a second bracket configured to be coupled to the platform, a horizontal support including a first end portion coupled to the first bracket and a second end portion coupled to the second bracket, and a harness adapter coupled to the harness, the harness adapter defining an aperture that receives the horizontal support. The harness adapter is repositionable along a length of the horizontal support.
Buckle assembly and harness comprising the same
A buckle assembly and a harness including the buckle assembly. The buckle assembly includes a male buckle and a female buckle removably coupled to the male buckle. The male buckle includes a catch and a first adjustment member extending from the catch. The first adjustment member defines a plurality of first slots therethrough, such that each first slot is configured to movably receive a first webbing therethrough. The female buckle includes a main body and a second adjustment member extending from the main body. The main body is configured to at least partially receive the catch therein. The second adjustment member defines a plurality of second slots therethrough, such that each second slot is configured to movably receive a second webbing therethrough.
HARNESS
The roping harness comprises a pair of leg loops and a suspension point. The suspension point comprises: distinct first and second rings, a connecting part fixed continuously to the two distinct rings, the connecting part mechanically connecting the two distinct rings with the pair of leg loops, a closed metal connector provided with a rod.
The two rings are separated from one another by a first distance in a first direction and define an empty space between a first lateral surface of the first ring and a second lateral surface of the second ring. The two rings are arranged so as to allow fitting of the rod of the connector in the two rings. The rod presents a longitudinal axis coinciding with the first direction. The rod is fitted movable in rotation in the two rings and the connector is mounted movable in rotation around the rod.
Safety harness
A safety harness comprises shoulder straps, a waist strap, and a weight distribution assembly interconnecting the shoulder straps and the waist strap. The weight distribution assembly is configured and arranged to transfer a load from proximate the shoulder straps to proximate the waist strap.
A METHOD OF RESCUING A SUBJECT POSITIONED IN A VEHICLE AND A RESCUE DEVICE
A rescue device for moving a subject comprising i) a brace member for securing the arms and the torso of the subject together, the brace member comprising i. a central section; ii. a first and second lateral section, and iii. fastening means; wherein the brace member is capable of forming a loop for securing the arms and the torso of the subject together by fastening the first lateral section to the second lateral section with the fastening means, and ii) a ribbon member pair for moving and/or stabilizing a subject wearing the brace member when said rescue device is in use, the ribbon member pair comprising i. a first ribbon member having a first portion connected to the brace member; and ii. a second ribbon member having a second portion connected to the brace member.
Safety restraint system for an elevated worker's bucket
A safety restraint system for use by a worker working in a bucket, including a primary tether line that securely encircles the bucket at a position adjacent to the upper rim thereof; at least a pair of straps connected to the tether line on opposite sides of the bucket; a safety harness or aerial belt adapted to be worn by the worker and having at least a pair of clips attached thereto; and at least a pair of straps that interconnect the harness buckles to the straps on the tether line, thereby interconnecting the harness to the tether line.
METHOD FOR PREVENTING FALL OF OPERATOR, CONTROLLER, SAFETY BELT AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present application discloses a method for preventing a fall of an operator, a controller, a safety belt and a computer-readable storage medium. The method for preventing a fall of an operator includes obtaining magnetic field information of the safety belt body worn by the operator; querying a preset fixed state mapping table based on the magnetic field information of the safety belt body to obtain a fixed state of the safety belt, the fixed state mapping table is configured to save a mapping relationship between the magnetic field information and the fixed state; and outputting a warning signal based the fixed state.
FORCE DAMPING SYSTEM INCLUDING FORCE DAMPER, REINFORCED NON-FLAMMABLE BAILOUT LANYARD, AND FORCE ABSORBING FIREMAN HARNESS
A bailout and force damping system that progressively arrests a first force imparted by an object moving in a first direction is disclosed. The bailout and force damping system can include a force damper member, a reinforced bailout lanyard optionally including a tear-away portion, and a force absorbing belt/harness. The force damper member includes an elastically deformable compression member and a plastically deformable sacrificial elongatable member.
