SELF-RETRACTING DEVICE HARNESS TUNNEL ADAPTER

An adapter includes an extending body adapted to maintain an open volume between two sections of the webbing extending between two spaced slots and an upper surface of a D-shim of a safety harness so that a section of a connector may be passed through the volume to removably connect the connector to the safety harness. The extending body of the adapter is formed separately from the D-shim and from a D-ring of the safety harness. The extending body is configured to be placed within a looped volume between the two sections of the webbing extending between the two spaced slots and an upper surface of the D-shim with the D-ring connected to the two sections of the webbing extending between the spaced slots.

Harness connector

Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose a full body harness that includes a connector. The connector includes a first plate and a second plate, where the first plate is identical to the second plate. The first plate and the second plate includes a plurality of slits to facilitate passage of a first harness and a second harness therethrough. The first plate is rotatably coupled to the second plate such that they are rotatable with respect to each other. Such a connector automatically enables easy adjustment of the harness based on an activity of a user who is wearing the harness.

Method for preventing fall of operator, controller, safety belt and storage medium

The present application discloses a method for preventing a fall of an operator, a controller, a safety belt and a computer-readable storage medium. The method for preventing a fall of an operator includes obtaining magnetic field information of the safety belt body worn by the operator, querying a preset fixed state mapping table based on the magnetic field information of the safety belt body to obtain a fixed state of the safety belt, the fixed state mapping table is configured to save a mapping relationship between the magnetic field information and the fixed state; and outputting a warning signal based the fixed state.

Safety harness with self-locking dorsal brace

A fall-protection safety harness including left and right shoulder straps and a waist strap, and a dorsal plate mounted on the left and right shoulder straps at a dorsal crossing point. A dorsal brace for use with such a harness, the brace comprising a self-locking fastener at the upper end of the dorsal brace. The fastener is fastenable, and self-locking, to the dorsal plate, and a lower end of the dorsal brace is connectable to the waist strap. Methods of equipping a safety harness with the dorsal brace.

Fall-protection apparatus with multimodal inductive sensing

A fall-protection apparatus comprising at least one connector that comprises a resonant-frequency-shifting inductive sensing unit that is configured to detect whether the connector appears to be connected to a first item and is further configured to detect whether the connector appears to be connected to a second, different item.

An aerial drone system includes: a drone configured for flying, for being coupled with a user, and for operating autonomously at a separation distance from the user without supporting the user when the user is not fallen; and a control system operatively coupled with the drone and configured for: detecting a fall of the user; using the drone to arrest the fall of the user upon detecting the fall and to support the user in the air; and using the drone to fly the user to a platform.

Systems and methods for material handling vehicle safety reinforcement

Systems, methods, and media for safety reinforcement for a personal protective equipment (PPE) device for a material handling vehicle are provided. The safety reinforcement system can include a control unit co-located with the material handling vehicle and configured to receive an identification from the PPE device, communicate the identification to a server, receive an operating routine for the identified PPE device from the server in response to the identification, receive a first operational data from the PPE device, and transmit a limiting instruction to a subsystem of the material handling vehicle according to the operating routine. The operating routine may comprise at least one of a translation routine and a governing rule. The limiting instruction may limit a function of the material handling vehicle.

HARNESS ADJUSTMENT DEVICE

A harness adjustment device for adjusting a length of webbing includes a toothed rotational member including a spool structured to receive the webbing and an end portion including teeth disposed at an end of the spool, the toothed rotational member being structured to rotate to draw in or let out the webbing, and an engagement mechanism having an engagement portion. The engagement portion is structured to move between a first position in which the engagement portion abuts against the toothed rotational member between at least two of the teeth and prevents rotation of the toothed rotational member, and a second position in which the engagement portion is separated from the toothed rotational member and allows rotation of the toothed rotational member.
