Fall Protection Compliance System and Method
A connector for a fall protection compliance system includes a frame having an opening and a connection area configured for receiving a connection structure therein and a connection sensor assembly associated with the frame. The connection sensor assembly includes at least one permanent magnet configured for generating a magnetic field within at least a portion of the connection area, at least one magnetometer configured for detecting a presence or an absence of a disturbance in the magnetic field, and a control device having at least one processor programmed or configured to receive connection data from the at least one magnetometer, determine a connection status of the connector based on detecting the presence or the absence of the disturbance in the magnetic field, and perform at least one action based on the connection status. A method for detecting connection of a connector to a connection structure is also disclosed.
Harness with structural tear tape
A harness configured for being removably attachable to a body of a user has an optional pair of leg straps, an optional belt strap, and a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap has a front portion attached to a front end of each leg strap and a rear portion attached to a rear end of each leg strap. At least a portion of the shoulder strap has an energy absorbing element formed integrally therein having a tearable webbing material with at least two bound, load-bearing webbing components configured to tear from one another.
SAFETY HARNESS DEVICE
The invention relates to a safety harness device for catching a person if they fall, in particular in the case of construction activities, comprising at least one shoulder strap, which has a chest portion, a shoulder portion and a back portion, comprising a locking element for releasably attaching a safety rope, wherein the locking element can be transferred between a working position, in which the locking element is arranged on the back portion side of the shoulder strap, and a catch position, in which the locking element is arranged on the chest portion side of the shoulder strap.
FALL ARRESTING DEVICE CONNECTOR
A connector for coupling fall arresting devices to a safety harness. The connector includes a ring that encircles a space configured to receive at least one strap of the safety harness, a first connector member configured to receive a first fall arresting device, and a second connector member configured to receive a second fall arresting device. The ring includes a lateral member, a first side member coupled to a first end of the lateral member, and a second side member coupled to a second end of the lateral member that is opposite the first end. The first connector member is integrally formed with the lateral member, first side member, and second side member.
Roping harness
The roping harness comprises: a belt provided with a first strap and with at least first and second comfort parts arranged between the first strap and the user, a pair of thigh straps, a connecting element connected to the pair of thigh straps, a first adjustment device configured to adjust the length of the first strap and to define the circumference of the belt. The first comfort pad and second comfort pad are fitted movable in translation with respect to one another. The first comfort pad is fitted movable in translation with respect to the first strap along the first strap. The belt comprises at least a first blocking stop configured to prevent movement of the first comfort pad with respect to the second comfort pad beyond a threshold value, the first adjustment device forming a second blocking stop of the first comfort pad.
Strap forming a belt and/or pair of thigh straps of a roping harness, and roping harness
A strap includes at least a first and second area, the first and second areas being consecutive along a longitudinal axis of the strap. The strap is woven from at least the first, second and third groups of warp threads and at least one weft thread, the strap being devoid of the second group in the second area, and of the third group in the first area, the first group passing through the first and second areas. The first group and second group of warp threads are distributed over the width of the strap in the first area.
Assembly for extrication and rescue
A rescue assembly for rapid extrication of a victim from a dangerous environment includes a wearable base member (101, 201) and a rescue strap (103, 104) deployable therefrom. The rescue strap (103, 104) extends outwardly from the base member (101, 201) allowing a rescuer to form a secure connection to a rescue for extrication. Keeper assemblies (208, 209) cooperatively retain the rescue strap (103, 104) within the base member (101, 201) until deployed by the rescuer and a release assembly provides the ability to quickly release the rescue strap from the base member if desired by the rescuer.
Intelligent Rope Descending Rescue Backpack
The invention relates to an intelligent rope descending rescue backpack which includes a backpack body, a descending device, a controller and an alarm. The backpack body includes an upper body, a lower body, a backpack belt, a telescopic belt, and a V-belt. The upper body is provided with a zipper. The lower body is provided with a telescopic device. The telescopic belt is connected to the telescopic device. The descending device includes a roller shaft, a speed reducing mechanism and an annular safety bucket. The speed descending mechanism includes a second bracket, a damper shaft, a locking shaft and a locking mechanism. The alarm includes a third bracket, a third housing, a hook, a ship type switch, an alarm, a speaker and a second battery. The intelligent rope descending rescue backpack has a simple and reasonable structure, easy to use, safe and reliable, highly intelligent, and easy to store, etc. which effectively solves the difficulty of escaping from high-rise buildings.
FALL PROTECTION RADIO FREQUENCY EMERGENCY BEACON
Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for quickly detecting a fall and alerting appropriate parties of the fall. A fall protection device may comprise a fall detection module operable to sense when a fall occurs and generate wireless beacon, where the beacon may be received (or picked up) by any number of wireless devices, including wireless gateways, monitoring stations, and mobile devices.
