A structural post for fall arrest and rope access has a baseplate having baseplate fixing holes. A vertical mast is attached to an upper surface of the baseplate, and a main attachment plate comprising main attachment plate fixing holes is affixed to an upper end of the mast. The structural post may be mounted to concrete floor garden landscapes, steel structures and the like on high-rise buildings, for fall arrest and rope access, and which facilitates versatility and adaptability for various locations and applications, for construction, beside cleaning and other building and maintenance activities.

Temporary Horizontal Lifeline Device
20220241626 · 2022-08-04 ·

A temporary horizontal lifeline device includes a main frame, a central shaft pivotally arranged on the main frame, a drum and an external gear affixed on the central shaft, a spanner adapted for driving the central shaft to rotate, and a cable member winded around the drum. A gear groove is arranged on the periphery of the external gear. A first spring is arranged on the main frame so as to provide a force to enable the drum to retrieve the cable member. The main frame also comprises a brake element and a detent provided thereon. The brake element has a first state for restrict the gear groove and a second state for releasing the gear groove, which prevents the external gear from rotating forward and backward when the external gear is in the first state. The detent has a first position to mesh the gear groove and a second position to release the gear groove, so that the external gear is only allowed to unidirectionally rotate in the first position. Accordingly, the present invention is convenient and safe to use when conducting retrieving operation, and effectively improves the stress concentration issue of conventional detents.

NON-PENETRATING ROOF SAFETY SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND USE FOR SLOPED ROOFTOPS
20220314045 · 2022-10-06 ·

An improved roof safety system allows temporary installation without damaging the roof or building by using non-penetrating C-shaped anchors to hook onto eaves on opposing sides of the roof with the anchors connected by a single, continuous anchor line under tension. Installation of primary components do not require a user to access the roof, as they may be installed from the ground or a ladder position. Slidable anchors connectable to an anchor line and lifeline allow free movement along the line in a first direction and block movement in a second opposite direction, allowing a user to anchor to the line at a selected position and then securely move about the roof's surface in an area generally disposed in the second direction while being protected from a fall. An optional wedge-stopper can aid in single-user installation.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING THE CONDITION OF A FALL - PROTECTION SAFETY SYSTEM
20220088425 · 2022-03-24 ·

Systems and methods for monitoring and reporting the condition of a permanent fall-protection safety system. The systems and methods use a sensor to obtain data corresponding to a physical state of at least one component of the safety system, the at least one component and the sensor being at a remote location and/or at an elevated height, relative to a base unit. The systems and methods further include wirelessly transmitting the data to the base unit, processing the data to reach an indication of a change in a physical state of the at least one component of the safety system, and reporting the condition of the safety system based on the indication of the physical state of the at least one component of the safety system.

System, method and apparatus for fall protection of workers at a construction site

A fall protection system can include towers configured to be coupled together with horizontal lifelines. Each tower can have a base removably coupled to a bottom of the frame. A lower slip sleeve can be slidably coupled to the base. The lower slip sleeve can have an elongate opening extending therethrough. An internal piece can be slidably received in the elongate opening and coupled to the lower slip sleeve. In addition, an upper slip sleeve can be coupled to an exterior of the internal piece such that the upper slip sleeve is not movable relative to the internal piece. Further, a mount plate can be slidably coupled to an exterior of the upper slip sleeve and mounted to a top of the frame. Finally, a stanchion can be slidably received in the upper elongate opening and coupled to the upper slip sleeve.
