10076979 · 2018-09-18 · ·

A disc recliner assembly has a guide plate including one pair of spaced apart and parallel guide walls and an outer peripheral rim having a plurality of radially projecting teeth. A tooth plate has an outer peripheral rim with a plurality of radially projecting teeth axially aligned with the teeth of the guide plate. A pawl is mounted between the guide plate and the tooth plate. The pawl is guided by the pair of guide walls between an unlocked position with the teeth of the pawl spaced and disengaged from teeth of the guide plate and the tooth plate to allow rotational movement of the guide plate relative to the tooth plate and a locked position with the teeth of the pawl in messed engagement with the teeth of the guide plate and the tooth plate to prevent rotational movement of the guide plate relative to the tooth plate.

A rotary actuator for controlling a flight control surface and a flight control surface actuation assembly including the rotary actuator. The actuator comprises a rotary output shaft for driving a flight control surface, a locking mechanism for selectively preventing rotation of the rotary output shaft and a torque limiter for allowing the locking mechanism to be bypassed upon the locking mechanism experiencing a torque above a predetermined limit.

DOOR OPERATOR DEVICE AND SECTIONAL OVERHEAD DOOR SYSTEM WITH ANTI-PRESSURE AND ANTI-THEFT FUNCTIONS
20240344381 · 2024-10-17 ·

The present invention relates to a door operator device and sectional overhead door system with anti-pressure and anti-theft functions, principally having a small-tooth-difference reduction gear and a ratchet-locking device. An input end of the small-tooth-difference reduction gear is kinematically connected to an input shaft; an output end of the small-tooth-difference reduction gear is kinematically connected to a shaft; the small-tooth-difference reduction gear includes a ratchet on its outer circumference; the ratchet-locking device is controlled to selectively lock or unlock the ratchet. When the ratchet-locking device locks the ratchet, it can realize the anti-theft function; when the ratchet-locking device unlocks the ratchet, and the shaft is driven by the input shaft through the small-tooth-difference reduction gear, but the shaft decelerates, stops, or even reverses due to an obstacle encountered or other factors, the input shaft and the small-tooth-difference reduction gear will idle automatically.

A people conveyor (10) comprises: a chain of conveyance elements (12), which are configured for conveying people; a drive unit (14), which is configured for driving the chain of conveyance elements (12); and a self-locking gear (20; 40), which is configured to lock when no torque is transmitted from the drive unit (14) to the chain of conveyance elements (12).

ENGINE GOVERNOR

An electronic governor system includes a motor, a transmission coupled to the motor, a throttle plate coupled to the transmission, the throttle plate movable to multiple positions between closed and wide-open, wherein power is supplied to the motor to move the throttle pate to a desired position and wherein power is not supplied to the motor to maintain the throttle plate in the desired position.

STRAIN WAVE GEARING
20240376972 · 2024-11-14 · ·

In a strain wave gearing, a thrust force applied on an externally toothed gear during an increased-speed operation causes the externally toothed gear to move along an axis in a first direction, and the output-side end surface thereof is pressed, by a prescribed force, against a friction surface of a friction plate integrated with a rotating shaft part of a strain wave generator. Torque transmission efficiency can be reduced only during increased-speed operation, by means of a friction loss occurring between the externally toothed gear and the friction plate. When large load torque is applied from an output shaft which is an output-side member during reduced-speed operation, retention torque of the strain wave generator which is an input-side member during speed-reduction operation can be reduced.
