Safe Ladder- Safety Ladder Harness
Safe Ladder-Safety Laddery Harness is a new discovery for those whose climb ladders frequently. Safe Ladder-Safety Ladder Harness will keep you safe on any ladder! Just mount the sensor safety line eye bolts to the top and bottom and connect them with the safety braided steel cable. Now you can attach the safety retractable lanyard to the top and pull down the safety line. Put on the safety belt and attach the belt to the safety line from the retractable lanyard. When you climb a ladder, the tractable lanyard will retract and give you an extra safety element when climbing a ladder. It has a universe design to mount most ladders. Safe Ladder-Safety Ladder Harness is the safety device everyone needs to use when climbing a ladder. It's a perfect to resolve the problem of falling off a ladder.
SELF-SECURING DEVICE PREVENTING A COMMUNICATION MEANS FROM REMAINING IN AN UNDEFINED INTERMEDIATE POSITION
The invention relates to a self-securing device for securing a person, having: a first fastening element for fastening to a securing element; a second fastening element for fastening to a securing element; a communication means for communicating between the first fastening element and the second fastening element such that, in a first posture of the communication means, the first fastening element can be operated and the second fastening element is blocked and, in a second posture of the communication means, the first fastening element is blocked and the second fastening element can be operated; and a control mechanism for controlling the communication means to prevent the communication means from remaining in an undefined intermediate posture between the first posture and the second posture.
MAGNETIC BRAKING SYSTEM FOR DESCENDING PAYLOADS
Systems and methods for a magnetic braking system for controlling the descent of a payload against gravity are disclosed herein. The magnetic braking system may allow for a user to descend along a descending structure, such as a rope, hands-free. A plurality of conductive bands, comprising a non-ferromagnetic material, may be affixed to an exterior of the descending structure. The payload may be connected to the descending structure via a lanyard having a collar that circumferentially attaches to the descending structure. The collar may comprise magnetic assemblies arranged as a linear Halbach array. As the collar translates past the conductors, eddy currents may be generated within the conductive bands, resulting in a repelling magnetic field that may provide a braking force that acts upon the collar, thereby slowing the descent of the payload.
FALL PROTECTION RADIO FREQUENCY EMERGENCY BEACON
Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for quickly detecting a fall and alerting appropriate parties of the fall. A fall protection device may comprise a fall detection module operable to sense when a fall occurs and generate wireless beacon, where the beacon may be received (or picked up) by any number of wireless devices, including wireless gateways, monitoring stations, and mobile devices.
FALL PROTECTION LANYARD CAPABLE OF DIRECT CONNECTION TO HARNESS WEBBING
A fall arrest lanyard (10) is provided for arresting the fall of a user from an elevated worksite and includes a connector (16) having a rigid frame (30) and a load bearing pin (32) extending along a longitudinal axis (34). The pin (32) has a central span (36) extending between first and second end portions (38, 40) and is mounted in the frame (30) to translate along the longitudinal axis (34) between an open position wherein at least one of the end portions (38, 40) is spaced from the frame (30) to allow a length of webbing (41) from a fall protection harness (17) to be loaded into the connector (16), and a closed position wherein the first and second end portions (38, 40) of the pin (32) are supported by the frame (30) with the central span (36) of the pin (32) being free from engagement to trap the length of webbing (41) between the pin (32) and the frame (30) for load bearing engagement with the central span (36).
Lineman harness adapter system
A lineman safety harness adapter system for use in association with a harness, having: a first harness adapter having a first strap having a first top end and a first bottom end loop configured to receive a first locking element at a first bottom end, a second strap having a second top end and a second bottom end loop configured to receive a second locking element at a second bottom end, a third strap having a third top end and a third bottom end loop configured to receive a third locking element at a third bottom end; the first strap, the second strap, and the third strap meeting at the first top end, the second top end, and the third top end into a first top loop configured to receive a fourth locking element.
SMART FALL ARREST SYSTEM
A smart fall arrest system (30) is provided and includes a fall arrest device (32) and an intelligent module (34) fixed to the fall arrest device (32). The intelligent module includes a range finder (42), a user alert device (44), a processor (46) and an accelerometer module (50). The processor (46) is configured to determine a vertical clearance distance underlying a worksite based on signals from the range finder (42) and the accelerometer module (50), the processor determines if the fall arrest device (32) is appropriate and if the anchor point selected for connecting the fall arrest device (32) is at an appropriate height.
Fast rope insertion system
A user insertion system, that includes (a) a belay tether connectable to a support and configurable for descending a user; (b) an attachment device installable onto the support between the support and the belay tether; (c) a user braking device connectable between the belay tether and the user; and (d) a tip resistant system.
Cam Assembly for use with Pole Climbing Fall Restriction Device
In a pole climbing fall prevention assembly having a pole strap, lanyard, and cam assembly that permits adjustment of the pole strap, a lever is attached to the sidewall of a cam assembly to ease the task of a climber needing to adjust the pole strap. A second lever can be attached to the second sidewall of the cam assembly to provide easier access to the lever regardless of the orientation of the cam assembly relative to the climber.
