Advanced Guidance and Angle Restriction in a Height Safety Apparatus
A load transfer device includes a first rotary member and a second rotary member, each of which comprise a plurality of radially projecting petals having a cutout area configured to receive a local portion of an elongated support member. A link body is connected to the first rotary member and the second rotary member. The link body includes a connecting eye configured to attach a load to the load transfer device. A link blocker is connected to the link body. The link blocker has a first blocking member on a first side of the link blocker and a second blocking member on a second side of the link blocker. The first blocking member and the second blocking member are configured to prevent access of lateral portions of the elongated support member to the cutout areas of the radially projecting petals.
RAIL SYSTEMS, SHUTTLE ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS OF USE
Methods, systems, assemblies, and/or the like are provided. According to various embodiments, there is provided a rail system including a vertical rail aligned vertically and including a vertical track; a changeover rail comprising a first portion, second portion, and a changeover track, wherein the first portion is configured to operably connect to the vertical rail, wherein the second portion is configured to be fixedly connected to a post, wherein the changeover track is disposed along the first and second portions, wherein the vertical track and the changeover track are configured to be aligned to form a track configured to receive a shuttle assembly configured to travel along the track; and a changeover mechanism configured to operably attach the vertical rail and the changeover rail.
Bracket fixing for a safety line
A bracket fixing for securing a safety line to a structure, has a safety line receiving portion and a fixing portion connected to the safety line receiving portion, the fixing portion having a captive mechanical fixing, arranged to engage with and secure the bracket to the structure.
Safety restraint anchor system
A safety restraint anchor system may include, but is not limited to: a pole portion; a circumferential frame portion disposed about an axis of the pole; and at least one safety line anchor.
CONTINUOUS SAFETY OR BELAY SYSTEM
A bifurcation method and system for a passive continuous belay system that allows for a user to select multiple pathways using intermediate tracks. A main track and the intermediate tracks provide a linear passive continuous belay using an anchor mechanism that is configured to grasp the outside of the structural member track, using rolling elements and/or low-friction sliding. The user may select multiple pathways using intermediate lateral tracks to provide Cartesian movement at designated (e.g., perpendicular) transition or junction. points.
Universal Continuous Belay System
A fall protection system that is easy to assemble, up to international safety standards, and allows fluid progression. The system includes an at least engagement hook, an at least one bifurcating plate, an at least one cable tensioning anchor, and an at least one T-shaped anchor plate. The engagement hook includes a C-shaped body, a first stud, and a second stud. The first stud and the second stud are integrated through the C-shaped body, on either side of an interlocking gap of the C-shaped body. The user is attached to the engagement hook by a tether attachment hole of the C-shaped body. The bifurcating plate includes a cross-shaped body and a plurality of third studs. Each of the third studs is integrated through a corresponding leg of the cross-shaped body. The bifurcating plate, the cable tensioning anchor, and the T-shaped anchor plate are tethered by a system of cables.
Self-securing device preventing a communication means from remaining in an undefined intermediate position
The invention relates to a self-securing device for securing a person, having: a first fastening element for fastening to a securing element; a second fastening element for fastening to a securing element; a communication means for communicating between the first fastening element and the second fastening element such that, in a first posture of the communication means, the first fastening element can be operated and the second fastening element is blocked and, in a second posture of the communication means, the first fastening element is blocked and the second fastening element can be operated; and a control mechanism for controlling the communication means to prevent the communication means from remaining in an undefined intermediate posture between the first posture and the second posture.
Connector apparatuses
A connector apparatus includes a first connector and a second connector. A housing defines a first channel and a second channel and a locking mechanism configured to secure one of the first and second connectors within the first channel or the second channel. The locking mechanism includes a disk with a rotational stop, and a latch arm pivotable between at least a latched position and an unlatched position. When the first connector is secured within the first channel by the disk and the second connector is inserted into the second channel, the second connector actuates the latch arm towards the unlatched position such that the disk is enabled to pivot and secure the second connector to the housing while simultaneously releasing the first connector from the housing.
Easy Connect and Disconnect Height Safety Apparatus
A load transfer device includes first and second rotary members which are configured to receive an elongated support member. A retention member extends between the rotary members which retains the elongated support member between the rotary members. A link body is located between the rotary members and includes a connecting eye. A link blocker is coupled to the link body and toggles between a first and second position. In the first position, the link blocker allows the load transfer device to be connected to or disconnected from the elongated support member and prevents access to the connecting eye. In the second position. the link blocker prevents the load transfer device from being connected to or disconnected from the elongated support element and allows access to the connecting eye. The link blocker transitions from the second position to the first position when a force is applied to the link blocker.
