Drive device
A drive device capable of suppressing the complication of the device configuration in order to realize a plurality of operation modes is provided. A drive device includes a drive source, a first differential mechanism, a second differential mechanism, a switching mechanism, and a casing. The differential mechanism includes a first side gear connected to a left wheel, a first case connected to the drive source, and a second side gear. The second differential mechanism includes a third side gear connected to a right wheel, a second case, and a fourth side gear connected to the second side gear. The switching mechanism switches the casing, the first case, the second side gear, and the fourth side gear to a connection state and a non-connection state.

Tandem axle gearing arrangement
A drive axle system including a first axle assembly having an input shaft in driving engagement with an under-drive arrangement, an inter-axle differential in driving engagement with the under-drive arrangement, a through drive shaft in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential, a first axle drive pinion in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential, and a first axle differential arrangement including a first axle ring gear in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential through the first axle drive pinion. The drive axle system further includes the second axle assembly in driving engagement with the through drive shaft. The second axle assembly includes a second axle drive pinion drivingly engaged with the through drive shaft and meshingly engaged with a second axle ring gear of a second axle differential arrangement. The under-drive arrangement is configured to reduce a drive ratio of the first axle assembly and the second axle assembly.
Tandem axle gearing arrangement
A drive axle system including a first axle assembly having an input shaft in driving engagement with an under-drive arrangement, an inter-axle differential in driving engagement with the under-drive arrangement, a through drive shaft in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential, a first axle drive pinion in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential, and a first axle differential arrangement including a first axle ring gear in driving engagement with the inter-axle differential through the first axle drive pinion. The drive axle system further includes the second axle assembly in driving engagement with the through drive shaft. The second axle assembly includes a second axle drive pinion drivingly engaged with the through drive shaft and meshingly engaged with a second axle ring gear of a second axle differential arrangement. The under-drive arrangement is configured to reduce a drive ratio of the first axle assembly and the second axle assembly.
TRANSAXLE
A transaxle includes: an axle housing in which an input gear is rotatably supported; a differential casing that is contained in the axle housing while being rotatably supported relative to the axle housing; first and second side gears as a pair of spur gears that are contained in the differential casing, coaxially arranged, relatively rotatable with each other, and rotatable relative to the differential casing; a group of pinions as spur gears that are rotatably supported, in the differential casing, by rotational shafts that are in parallel with axes of the first and the second side gears in the differential casing, the group of pinions transmitting power between the first side gear and the second side gear; and a final gear having a ring shape that is contained in the axle housing, meshes with the input gear, incorporates the differential casing, and is relatively unrotatably coupled to the differential casing.
TRANSAXLE
A transaxle includes: an axle housing in which an input gear is rotatably supported; a differential casing that is contained in the axle housing while being rotatably supported relative to the axle housing; first and second side gears as a pair of spur gears that are contained in the differential casing, coaxially arranged, relatively rotatable with each other, and rotatable relative to the differential casing; a group of pinions as spur gears that are rotatably supported, in the differential casing, by rotational shafts that are in parallel with axes of the first and the second side gears in the differential casing, the group of pinions transmitting power between the first side gear and the second side gear; and a final gear having a ring shape that is contained in the axle housing, meshes with the input gear, incorporates the differential casing, and is relatively unrotatably coupled to the differential casing.

Transmission device for a motor vehicle
A transmission device of a motor vehicle is disclosed, wherein the motor vehicle has a first wheel axle and a second wheel axle, and wherein the second wheel axle consists of at least one first subaxle and one second subaxle. The transmission device has a first connecting shaft which is operatively connectable to the first subaxle a second connecting shaft which is operatively connectable to the second partial axle and a coupler mechanism having a drive shaft which is operatively connectable to a drive unit of the motor vehicle and an output shaft which is operatively connectable to the first wheel axle, wherein the drive shaft is operatively connected via the coupler mechanism in a torque-dividing manner to the output shaft and to the first and the second connecting shafts.

The transmission device has a first connecting shaft which is operatively connectable to the first subaxle a second connecting shaft which is operatively connectable to the second partial axle and a coupler mechanism having a drive shaft which is operatively connectable to a drive unit of the motor vehicle and an output shaft which is operatively connectable to the first wheel axle, wherein the drive shaft is operatively connected via the coupler mechanism in a torque-dividing manner to the output shaft and to the first and the second connecting shafts.
