ROTATABLE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A COUPLING INTERFACE
A rotatable assembly, such as a crankshaft or camshaft assembly, includes a first rotatable component and a second rotatable component coupled to the first rotatable component. The first rotatable component includes a first body and defines a plurality of recesses extending into the first body. The second rotatable component includes a second body and defines a plurality of protrusions extending from the second body. The protrusions are disposed inside the respective recesses to allow the second rotatable component to rotate in unison with the first rotatable component.
THERMISTOR FLOW PATH
A fluid pump includes a pump element in communication with an inlet and an outlet. Rotation of the pump element generates a suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet. The suction and pressure cooperate to move a fluid through a fluid path. An accessory fluid path is in communication with the inlet and outlet. The accessory fluid path includes a thermistor in communication with the accessory fluid path. The thermistor monitors a temperature of the fluid within the accessory fluid path.
REMOTELY MOUNTED IDLER GEAR
The present disclosure provides a remote mount for an idler gear assembly, comprising: a gear mounting plate including a plurality of bores configured to receive a corresponding plurality of fasteners to mount a gear assembly to the gear mounting plate; and an attachment bracket including a plurality of mounting openings configured to receive a corresponding plurality of bolts to mount the remote mount to a cylinder head. The gear mounting plate supports the gear assembly such that a gear of the gear assembly rotates about an axis that is parallel to an axis of a crankshaft of an engine and the attachment bracket mounts to an upper surface of the cylinder head.

Differential overmolded weldable ring
A differential assembly is disclosed herein. The differential assembly includes a case, a weld ring and a ring gear. The ring gear and case may comprise dissimilar materials. The case may be overmolded onto the weld ring. The weld ring may be welded to the ring gear such that the ring gear is attached to the case.

DRIVING FORCE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A driving force control system for a vehicle is provided to control a torque vectoring device is provided. A controller is configured to bring the torque vectoring device into a preparatory state in which the differential torque and the differential limit torque are equalized to each other when shifting the operating mode between the differential mode and the differential limit mode, and to shift the operating mode of the torque vectoring device by gradually reducing a difference between the differential torque and the differential limit torque.

VEHICLE POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
When a third sun gear is fitted into a fitting hole of a clutch drum, external circumferential spline teeth and internal circumferential spline teeth that configure a spline-fitted part start meshing with each other before a tolerance ring comes into contact with the third sun gear and the clutch drum. Accordingly, the external circumferential spline teeth and the internal circumferential spline teeth mesh with each other, thereby centering the third sun gear and the clutch drum, thus accurately assembling the third sun gear and the clutch drum without causing eccentricity thereof
Steering apparatus
A steering apparatus includes: a pinion shaft coupled to a steering wheel and having a pinion; a rack shaft having a rack engaged with the pinion and a shaft back located on opposite side of the rack with an axial center of the rack shaft in between; a rack shaft housing that houses and slidably supports the rack shaft; and a rack shaft supporting mechanism having a pressure applying member that applies a pressure onto the shaft back toward the pinion. The shaft back includes a predetermined region provided across a midpoint of the rack which corresponds to a neutral position of the steering wheel. The predetermined region is a right-to-left steering wheel angle region having a height higher than a height of any other region of the shaft back.
