VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device includes an actuator drive control section that controls drive of an actuator, a main motor drive control section that controls drive of a main motor, and a stagnation determination section. The stagnation determination section determines a stagnation of the actuator based on a detected value of a sensor unit that detects a physical quantity that changes according to a drive state of the actuator. When performing a meshing surface pressure reduction control for reducing a meshing surface pressure generated at the meshing point between a parking gear and a parking lever by driving the main motor, the main motor drive control section decreases a main motor torque which is a torque of the main motor based on the detected value of the sensor unit.

Method, control device and computer program product for determining a position of a motor vehicle
Disclosed is a method for determining a position of a motor vehicle by means of a location device of the motor vehicle. First, a first position (x.sub.1) related to an installation point of the location device in the motor vehicle is determined. In order to determine a position suitable for controlling the motor vehicle, with reference to the said first position (x.sub.1) a second position (x.sub.2) related to a center of gravity of the vehicle is determined, in that the first position (x.sub.1) is offset by a distance (a) between the said installation point of the location device and the center of gravity of the vehicle.

Work vehicle
A work vehicle including: a hydraulic stepless transmission that shifts a speed of a driving force from an engine; a gear shift pedal that performs an acceleration/deceleration operation of a shifted output from the hydraulic stepless transmission; a control section that controls the engine and the hydraulic stepless transmission based on an operation amount of the gear shift pedal; and acceleration/deceleration switches that increase and reduce a vehicle speed in performing an auto-cruise mode. The control section stores a set maximum vehicle speed. In a case where the acceleration/deceleration switches are operated in the auto-cruise mode, the control section increases and reduces the vehicle speed stored in shifting to the auto-cruise mode based on the amount of change in accordance with the maximum vehicle speed.

CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE, CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
Provided is a control device for a vehicle including a first oil pump that is driven by a first drive source driving a drive wheel of a vehicle and configured to supply oil to a hydraulic pressure actuation machine, and a second oil pump that is driven by a second drive source different from the first drive source and configured to supply oil to the hydraulic pressure actuation machine. The control device drives the second oil pump when a start switch of the vehicle is turned on and the first drive source is started for the first time, and drives the second oil pump when the second oil pump is not driven for a first predetermined time after the first drive source is started, and a rotation speed of the second oil pump when the first drive source is started is lower than a rotation speed of the second oil pump after the first drive source is started.
Powertrain fault management
A computer is programmed to determine an occupancy status of a vehicle based on received sensor data; and adjust a parameter of a powertrain of the vehicle in response to data indicating a critical condition of the powertrain based on the occupancy status. The parameter may be one of engine speed, cylinder deactivation, transmission-shift time, and shift schedule.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CVT CLAMP CONTROL BASED ON ONCOMING CONDITIONS IN A VEHICLE PROPULSION SYSTEM
A vehicle propulsion system includes an oncoming condition sensor that generates an oncoming condition signal, a continuously variable transmission with a variator assembly adapted to transfer torque between a first rotating member and a second rotating member through a flexible continuous device rotatably coupling the first rotating member to the second rotating member, one of the first rotating member and second rotating member including a clamping pulley adapted to controllably adjust a clamping force on the flexible continuous device, and a controller in communication with the oncoming condition sensor and the continuously variable transmission that is programmed to characterize an oncoming condition based upon the oncoming condition signal and to control the clamping pulley to adjust the clamping force based on the characterization of the oncoming condition.
WHEEL SLIP FLARE CONTROLLER USING CLUTCH CONTROL
A method is proposed to complete a power-on upshift while a vehicle encounters wheel slip conditions such as driving in loose sand. The wheels slip conditions may be detected based on a maximum rate of change of an output shaft exceeding a threshold. In response to the wheel slip conditions, one or more shift parameters may be adjusted to bias the shift toward a tie-up and decrease the chance of a flare. These modified shift parameters may include an increased stroke pressure, a delayed off-going clutch release timing, and an increased ratio change capacity.
