A transmission includes an input shaft that couples to a prime mover, twin countershafts and a main shaft having gears coupled thereon, an output shaft that selectively provides a torque output to a driveline, a first shift actuator that selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft. The transmission includes a second shift actuator that couples the main shaft to the output shaft with a selected reduction ratio, and a controller including a vehicle state circuit that interprets at least one vehicle operating condition, and a neutral enforcement circuit that provides a first neutral command to the first shift actuator and a second neutral command to the second shift actuator, in response to the at least one vehicle operating condition indicating that vehicle motion is not intended.
Arrangement of a Parking Lock in a Vehicular Transmission
A parking lock in a vehicle transmission includes a locking mechanism for locking and releasing a parking interlock gear (1) and an actuating unit. The actuating unit is coupled via a coupling mechanism to the locking mechanism in order to actuate the locking mechanism between an interlock position and a release position of the parking interlock gear (1). The parking lock is arranged on an intermediate plate (2) in a housing of the vehicle transmission.
GASKET WITH INTEGRATED SEALED PASS THROUGH
A gasket assembly for sealing between a first component and a second component, the first component having a main cavity separated from a secondary cavity by at least one wall, the at least one wall having an aperture formed therethrough, includes a device configured to extend through the aperture. An aperture sealing insert is molded around a portion of the device, the aperture sealing insert sized and shaped to fit into the aperture. An aperture seal is disposed about an outer perimeter surface of the aperture sealing insert, the aperture seal configured to seal against surfaces defining the aperture. A gasket baseplate is configured to be disposed over the aperture sealing insert between the first component and the second component to fluidly seal the main cavity from the secondary cavity while enabling the device to pass through the aperture.
Actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member, in particular for changing gear ratios in a motor vehicle transmission
An actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member of a motor vehicle transmission. The actuator includes a housing and a cover defining an internal volume in which are received at least one electric motor having a stator and a rotor mounted on a rotor shaft extending along an axis X1, a motor pinion fixed to the opposite end of the shaft from the rotor, a circuit board for supplying power to the stator and controlling the electric motor, and a reduction mechanism driven by the motor pinion. The housing or the cover includes an electrical connector which incorporates a semipermeable membrane allowing an exchange of gas between the inside of the actuator and the external surroundings.
