Method for holding a vehicle on a gradient
A method for holding a vehicle on a gradient. The vehicle has a transmission with an output, a first clutch and a second clutch. The primary sides of the first and second clutches are mechanically operatively connected to one another. The secondary sides of the first and second clutches are mechanically operatively connected to one another and to the output of the transmission. Different transmission ratios can be engaged by way of the first clutch and the second clutch, and the first clutch is in an engaged state. The method includes the additional closure of the second clutch in order to block the transmission and thus hold the vehicle at a standstill on a gradient.
DRIVE TRAIN
A drive train, including: a first electric motor; a second electric motor; and a transmission system including a first input shaft driveably connected to the first electric motor, a second input shaft driveably connected to the second electric motor, a first gear train including a first gear element rotatably mounted on the first input shaft and a second gear element rotatably mounted on the second input shaft, a second gear train including a third gear element rotatably mounted on the first input shaft and a fourth gear element rotatably mounted on the second input shaft, a gear selector assembly arranged to selectively lock either the first and third gear elements for rotation with the first input shaft or the second and fourth gear elements for rotation with the second input shaft.
TRANSMISSION AND VEHICLE
A transmission and a vehicle. A first clutch of the transmission is a bidirectional clutch. When the first clutch is disposed on an input shaft, the first clutch is located between a first-stage input gear and a second-stage input gear. When the first clutch is disposed on a countershaft, the first clutch is located between a first-stage output gear and a second-stage output gear. Alternatively, the transmission includes the first clutch and a second clutch that are disposed on the input shaft or the countershaft. A quantity of components in the transmission is reduced, and a structure of the transmission is simplified, to reduce costs of the transmission, and reduce production costs of the vehicle to some extent.
TRANSMISSION ARRANGEMENT
A transmission arrangement includes a transmission housing including a transmission housing wall assembly defining a transmission housing cavity enclosing at least a first and a second planetary gear set, wherein at least an external portion of each one of a first and second locking mechanisms of the planetary gear sets is located on one side of the transmission housing wall assembly and the transmission housing cavity is located on an opposite side of the transmission housing wall assembly.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating a dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle having a first partial transmission, a second partial transmission, and a transmission output shaft common to the partial transmissions and drivable both by the first partial transmission and by the second partial transmission, in which the dual clutch transmission is in a parking lock state in which two gears of one of the partial transmissions are engaged simultaneously. The following steps are carried out to exit the parking lock state: Introducing a torque caused by a drive element of the motor vehicle via the transmission output shaft common to the one partial transmissions into the one and/or other partial transmission while the gears of the partial transmission are engaged; and disengaging at least one of the gears of the one partial transmission engaged simultaneously in step a).
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL METHOD OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
A dual clutch automatic transmission includes a one-way clutch provided in a driving force transmission path that establishes a certain gear ratio in a first set of gear ratios. A driving transmission direction of the one-way clutch is set such that a rotation inputted from a wheel side to an output member in a predetermined rotational direction is transmitted to the input shaft. The predetermined rotational direction corresponds to a backward movement of a vehicle. On condition that the vehicle has stopped, backward movement prevention control of causing the switching mechanism to engage a transmission gear for another gear ratio in the first set with the input shaft can be executed.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL METHOD OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
A dual clutch automatic transmission includes a one-way clutch provided in a driving force transmission path that establishes a first certain gear ratio in a first set of gear ratios. A driving transmission direction of the one-way clutch is set such that a rotation inputted from a wheel side to an output member in a predetermined rotational direction is transmitted to the input shaft. The predetermined rotational direction corresponds to a backward movement of a vehicle. If an off-gear operation cannot be performed for a transmission gear with interlock, the driving force of the driving source is input to the input shaft to enable the off-gear operation.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, CONTROL METHOD OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE
A vehicle makes a notification to prompt a driver to perform a predetermined operation in a case in which a predetermined function of the vehicle is lost, and starts a recovery operation of the function on condition that the predetermined operation is performed.
On condition that the traveling state of the vehicle reaches a predetermined deceleration state, switching control of setting the gears for the first set to a neutral position can be executed.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A TRANSMISSION SHIFT ASSEMBLY
Various methods and systems are provided for a shift assembly for a vehicle transmission. In one example, a shift assembly for a transmission includes a first barrel cam including a first cam track; a second barrel cam arranged coaxially with the first barrel cam and including a second cam track; a first motor configured to drive the first barrel cam independent of the second barrel cam; and a second motor configured to drive the second barrel cam independent of the first barrel cam.
