Article transport facility

A fire protection door in an open position is present above a traveling path of a transport vehicle. The fire protection door is capable of moving downward from the open position to a closed position along a door trajectory. The transport vehicle includes: a control portion; an area detection portion that detects an interference area, which is an area in which a portion of the transport vehicle in the traveling path overlaps the door trajectory; and a descent detection portion that detects a descent of the fire protection door. The control portion performs a retraction control such that the transport vehicle travels to the outside of the interference area when the descent detection portion has detected a descent of the fire protection door in a state in which the transport vehicle is located in the interference area.

In one or more arrangements, a fire door system is connected to the fire wall and/or conveyor proximate to the conveyor opening. The fire door system includes a door assembly, a door frame assembly, and an actuator. The door frame assembly is connected to the fire wall, covers portions of the opening below the conveyor and between belts of the conveyor, and forms a door opening above the conveyor. The door assembly is configured to move between a closed position, where door assembly covers the door opening, and an open position, where the door assembly at least partially uncovers the door opening. The actuator is configured to cause the door to be moved to the closed position in response to fire.

The fire door is rotatable with respect to the wall. The guide rail has a movable rail portion supported by the fire door, and two stationary rail portions arranged across the movable rail portion from each other. A movable guide portion is provided at one of an end portion of the movable rail portion and an end portion of the stationary rail portion. The movable guide portion is capable of being moved between a guiding position in which the movable guide portion connects the movable rail portion and the stationary rail portion with the fire door in an open position, and a retracted position for allowing unhindered movement of the fire door and the movable rail portion when the fire door is rotated.
