As a result, a driver can safely shift the gear by preventing unintended shifting to R gear and sense the state of a select lock. Also, the select lock unit is implemented by one solenoid, so that it is possible to reduce the cost thereof, to prevent the overheating of the solenoid, and thus, to extend the life span.

A shift control apparatus of a manual transmission is disclosed.
