A gear shift (100) is described for a saddle vehicle (M) comprising a shift lever (110), a selecting element (130) actuated through the shift lever (110) and a selector drum (150) connected to the selecting element (130) and adapted to engage gears. The gear shift (100) further comprises a block device (140) functionally connected to the selector dmm (150) and configured so as to be switched between: a first configuration, wherein the block device (140) allows engaging a first gear (I) from a neutral gear (N) in a first change direction (Up), a second configuration, wherein the block device (140) inhibits the subsequent engagement of the neutral gear (N) from the first gear (I) in a second change direction (Dwn). Control means (120) of the block device (140) are further provided, actuated by a rider (G) so as to define a third configuration, wherein the block device (140) is disabled in order to allow engaging the neutral gear (N) from the first gear (I) in the second change direction (Dwn).

A shift operation determination apparatus includes: an operation member rotatably attached to the vehicle; a position detection section configured to detect a position of the operation member in a rotation direction; a shift determination section configured to determine, based on the position of the operation member, a shift range selected by the operation member; and a regulation section configured to regulate a rotation of the operation member, the regulation section being configured to regulate the rotation of the operation member when the operation member moves to a second position corresponding to the second range from a first position corresponding to the first range or a third position corresponding to the third range and moves to the third position within a predetermined time after being located at the second position.

A shift operation determination apparatus includes: an operation member rotatably attached to the vehicle; a position detection section configured to detect a position of the operation member in a rotation direction; a shift determination section configured to determine, based on the position of the operation member, a shift range selected by the operation member; and a regulation section configured to regulate a rotation of the operation member, the regulation section being configured to regulate the rotation of the operation member when the operation member moves to a second position corresponding to the second range from a first position corresponding to the first range or a third position corresponding to the third range and moves to the third position within a predetermined time after being located at the second position.
Shift apparatus
A driver is enabled to, even if a range selected by the driver and an actual range of the vehicle are different from each other, correctly recognize the actual range of the vehicle without occurrence of disagreement between an indicated range and the actual range of the vehicle. A display means is capable of indicating a range irrespective of a rotation operation of a shift member, and a range of the vehicle is capable of being switched to the range irrespective of the rotation operation of the shift member; and an instruction to the display means and an instruction to switch the range of the vehicle are provided from either one of first control means for indication control or second control means for vehicle range switching control.
Shift apparatus

LOAD DRIVE SYSTEM
A load drive system, capable of providing certainty about instructions transmitted from a load control device to a load drive device as well as suppressing an increase of processing load, includes an ECU, a drive device, a communication bus to which the ECU and the drive device are connected, and a third signal line different from the communication bus connecting the ECU and the drive device. The ECU generates a frame including a drive instruction message, and transmits the message to the drive device via the communication bus. The drive device receives the frame via the communication bus, and extracts the drive instruction message from data of data field in the received frame. The drive device converts the drive instruction message into a load drive signal, and notifies the converted load drive signal to the ECU via the third signal line.
LOAD DRIVE SYSTEM
A load drive system, capable of providing certainty about instructions transmitted from a load control device to a load drive device as well as suppressing an increase of processing load, includes an ECU, a drive device, a communication bus to which the ECU and the drive device are connected, and a third signal line different from the communication bus connecting the ECU and the drive device. METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING MISOPERATION OF ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION
A method and system for preventing misoperation of an electronic transmission, may include monitoring an operation signal of a transmission and an operation signal of a manipulation device provided around the transmission, by a controller, and upon detecting the operation signal of the transmission immediately after the operation signal of the manipulation device is detected, controlling, by the controller, a gear stage by disregarding the operation signal of the transmission and maintaining a current gear stage.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING MISOPERATION OF ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION
A method and system for preventing misoperation of an electronic transmission, may include monitoring an operation signal of a transmission and an operation signal of a manipulation device provided around the transmission, by a controller, and upon detecting the operation signal of the transmission immediately after the operation signal of the manipulation device is detected, controlling, by the controller, a gear stage by disregarding the operation signal of the transmission and maintaining a current gear stage.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device includes: a shift-position-switching acceptance unit that accepts switching operation of the shift position of the transmission but does not accept switching operation from a shift position other than the first forward position and the second forward position to the second forward position without via the first forward position; and an automatic-parking control unit that, in a case of moving the vehicle forward during execution of automatic parking control in a state in which the shift position of the transmission is set at a shift position other than the first forward position and the second forward position, sets the shift position of the transmission to the first forward position to move the vehicle forward.
