Waterproof driving shaft for a ventilation apparatus
12186603 · 2025-01-07 ·

A waterproof driving shaft includes an inner tubular member defining an accommodation space and extending along an axis, an electrical driving unit disposed in the accommodation space to actuate a movement of a moving shaft member along the axis relative to the inner tubular member. A shield unit is securely connected with the moving shaft member and seals the accommodation space to prevent moisture and humidity from entering the inner tubular member so as to prolong the service life of the driving unit.

Ceiling panel

STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A storage system is disclosed where goods can be stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of rails (e.g., tracks) on which load handling devices can run. To take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following exemplary services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensors, and data logging devices. The provision of these services within the framework rather than across the system as a whole, can allow for flexibility in storage whilst reducing cost and inefficiency.

INSPECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HVAC UNITS
20170128760 · 2017-05-11 · ·

An inspection system for an HVAC device includes an HVAC duct section, a damper positioned with the duct section, an actuator for selectively moving the damper to a closed position, and a verification camera for recording the position of the damper with a date stamp and a time stamp. The actuator is further configured to move the damper to its open position, and the verification camera is further configured to record the open position of the damper with a second date and time stamp.

Safety cabinet with interlock mechanism

A safety cabinet is disclosed which includes an enclosure having a double-wall construction and at least one door to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet includes a latch system for selectively retaining the door(s) in a closed position to cover the enclosure. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste. The latch system includes fusible links that fuse when exposed to high ambient temperatures and cause the latch system to further engage the enclosure, thereby promoting the interlocking relationship between the door(s) and the enclosure when the safety cabinet is exposed to threshold high ambient temperatures.

Horizontally deployable smoke/fire curtain assembly

A barrier assembly comprising a horizontally deployable vapor barrier assembly with a frame with opposing side guides extending between a header and footer. A guide rod contained in each side guide extends between the header and the footer. A vapor barrier is deployable horizontally with side edge sleeve portions that slide axially over the guide rods. At least one roller is connected to each of the side guides adjacent to the guide rod, and each roller supports a portion of the vapor barrier's side edge portions. The rollers rolls on the edge portions as the sleeve portion slides axially over the guide rods as the vapor barrier moves between the deployed and stowed positions. Lifter plates are attached to each of the side guides and positioned to engage support carriages and temporarily lift the support member out of engagement with the support surface over segment joints as the vapor barrier moves between the stowed and deployed positions. A drive system moves the vapor barrier between the stowed and deployed positions.

SUPPRESSING A FIRE CONDITION IN A CARGO CONTAINER
20170080268 · 2017-03-23 ·

Various concepts are provided for suppressing a fire condition in an aircraft. In one embodiment, the presence of a fire condition in an aircraft is detected. After such a detection, extinguishing agents can be dispensed and/or certain areas of the aircraft can be depressurized.
