Systems and methods for an electric drive unit. The electric drive unit, in one example, includes a first motor and a second motor arranged parallel to each other and rotationally coupled to a first input gear that is fixedly coupled to a first transmission shaft and a first clutch arranged coaxial to a second clutch. The drive unit further includes a second transmission shaft with an output gear rotationally coupled thereto and including a first and second mechanical interface configured to rotationally couple to a first drive axle and a second drive axle, where the output gear meshes with a gear that is directly rotationally coupled to a carrier in a planetary gear set.

Driveline arrangement

The disclosed subject matter relates to a driveline arrangement including a first driveline, a second driveline, and a control unit connected to the first and second drivelines, the control unit comprising control circuitry configured to control the second driveline to assume a disengaged state in which the second driveline is disconnected from propelling a second pair of wheels when a speed of the working machine exceeds a predetermined threshold speed limit.

HYBRID ELECTRIC VARIABLE TRANSMISSION FOR ALL-WHEEL DRIVE OFF-ROAD CAPABLE VEHICLE

An electrified powertrain that generates and transfers drive torque to a driveline of a hybrid vehicle includes a first electric motor, a second electric motor, an internal combustion engine (ICE), a first and second planetary gear set, and a first and a second clutch. The first planetary gear set includes a first sun gear, a first carrier and a first ring gear. The first sun gear is coupled to the first electric motor output. The first ring gear is coupled to the second electric motor output and the first carrier is selectively coupled to the ICE output. The second planetary gear set includes a second sun gear, a second carrier and a second ring gear. The second sun gear is coupled to the first ring gear. The second carrier is coupled to the driveline. The first clutch selectively fixes the second ring gear from rotating.

TWO-SPEED DISCONNECTING AWD SYSTEMS WITH PINION COUPLER

A power takeoff unit (PTU) for an all-wheel drive vehicle includes an input shaft configured to receive power, a main shaft, and a takeoff shift collar axially slidable between an engaged position connecting the input shaft to the main shaft and a disengaged position disconnecting the main shaft from the input shaft. Power received by the input shaft is transferred through the takeoff shift collar to the main shaft, through a main ring gear, a hypoid pinion gear, and through a pinion shaft when the takeoff shift collar is in the engaged position and wherein the main shaft is decoupled from the input shaft when the takeoff shift collar is in the disengaged position.

POWER-SHIFT TRANSMISSION FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE TRANSMISSION OF THE RANGE CHANGE TYPE

A powershiftable transmission has first, second, and third spur gear stages and first, second, and third shifting elements. A first spur gear is mounted rotatably on an input shaft and can be connected rotationally fixed to the input shaft by the first shifting element. The first spur gear meshes with a second spur gear on an output shaft coupled to a third spur gear. Fourth and fifth spur gears mesh together in the third spur gear stage. The fourth spur gear is on the input shaft and the fifth spur gear is on the output shaft. Actuating the second shifting element couples the input shaft to the output shaft. The third spur gear is rotationally fixed on a second input shaft and the second spur gear is mounted rotatably on the output shaft and can be connected to the output shaft by actuating the third shifting element.

TRANSFER CASE SINGLE SPEED WITH NEUTRAL POSITION AND BEARING PLATE

A transfer case includes an internal bore that receives a bearing plate assembly providing support for an input shaft. The bore is sized and configured such that the bearing plate assembly replaces a planetary gear assembly of a similar size. The transfer case having the bearing plate assembly is a single speed transfer case with a neutral operating mode. A shiftable collar has a first position that driving couples the input shaft to a first output shaft and a second position the interrupts the torque transfer therebetween. The collar is splined on the first output shaft and rotates with the first output shaft. A second end of the input shaft has a cylindrical outer surface and is supported by the bearing plate assembly and rotates relative to the bearing plate assembly, rather than including a sun gear that drives a planetary.
