A drive arrangement for an element vehicle, having first and second drive wheels (R1, R2), a first electric machine (EM1) and a second electric machine (EM2) with a common rotational axis (m), a manual transmission (G3) with a transmission input shaft (EW) and a transmission output shaft (AW) and an axle differential (DI) with a differential input (DIK) and two differential output shafts (3a, 3b). The first electric machine (EM1) is connected to the transmission input shaft (EW) and the transmission output shaft (AW) is connected to the differential input (DIK), and the second electric machine (EM2) can, if necessary, be engaged as an additional drive.
Method of operating a shifting system for a vehicle transmission
A method of operating a shifting system for a vehicle transmission includes engaging a clutch to operatively couple one of first and second gear ratios to an input member, and moving a disconnect from a first disconnect position where a disconnectable component is disengaged from the disconnect, to a second disconnect position where the disconnectable component is engaged with the disconnect to operatively couple the other of the first and second gear ratios to the input member through a shifting assembly. Engaging the clutch and moving the disconnect are performed such that the clutch is operatively coupled to one of the first and second gear ratios at the same time that the shifting assembly is operatively coupled to the other one of the first and second gear ratios, thus preventing torque from being transmitted through either the first and second gear ratios of the vehicle transmission to park the vehicle.
DRIVE TRAIN
A drive train, including: a first electric motor; a second electric motor; and a transmission system including a first input shaft driveably connected to the first electric motor, a second input shaft driveably connected to the second electric motor, a first gear train including a first gear element rotatably mounted on the first input shaft and a second gear element rotatably mounted on the second input shaft, a second gear train including a third gear element rotatably mounted on the first input shaft and a fourth gear element rotatably mounted on the second input shaft, a gear selector assembly arranged to selectively lock either the first and third gear elements for rotation with the first input shaft or the second and fourth gear elements for rotation with the second input shaft.
TRANSMISSION FOR A VEHICLE
A transmission for a vehicle includes an input shaft, a planetary gearset comprising a sun gearwheel, one or more planet gearwheels, a planet gearwheel holder and a planet ring gearwheel, a first gearwheel, a second gearwheel, a third gearwheel, a fourth gearwheel and a fifth gearwheel, an output shaft, and at least two gear engaging devices which are configured to provide at least four selectable gear connections. The planet ring gearwheel is rotatably connected or connectable to the first gearwheel. A first gear engaging device is configured to be provided in a first state where it rotationally connects the second gearwheel to the fourth gearwheel and in a second state where it rotationally disconnects the second gearwheel from the fourth gearwheel. The third selectable gear connection is provided by at least setting the first gear engaging device in the first gear engaging device first state.
TRANSMISSION AND VEHICLE
A transmission and a vehicle. A first clutch of the transmission is a bidirectional clutch. When the first clutch is disposed on an input shaft, the first clutch is located between a first-stage input gear and a second-stage input gear. When the first clutch is disposed on a countershaft, the first clutch is located between a first-stage output gear and a second-stage output gear. Alternatively, the transmission includes the first clutch and a second clutch that are disposed on the input shaft or the countershaft. A quantity of components in the transmission is reduced, and a structure of the transmission is simplified, to reduce costs of the transmission, and reduce production costs of the vehicle to some extent.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
An electric vehicle transmission (7) includes an input shaft (10), an output shaft (11), a first planetary gear set (P1), a second planetary gear set (P2), and a third planetary gear set (P3). The input shaft (10) is provided for coupling to an electric machine (6). A first shift element (A), a second shift element (B), and a third shift element (C) are provided at least functionally as well. Also disclosed is a drive system (4), a vehicle drive train (5), and an electric vehicle.
DRIVE UNIT
A drive unit includes a motor, a torque converter, a torque transmission member, first and second transmission paths, first and second gear trains, and a controller. The torque converter amplifies torque directed in a first direction. The first transmission path transmits torque through the torque converter. The second transmission path transmits torque without through the torque converter. The first gear train outputs torque directed in the first direction as forward torque. The second gear train outputs torque directed in the first direction as reverse torque. The controller executes a first forward moving mode such that the motor is rotated in the first direction, and torque is outputted through the first transmission path and the first gear train. The controller executes a second forward moving mode such that the motor is rotated in a second direction, and torque is outputted through the second transmission path and the second gear train.

The electric powertrain is surrounded by an oil. The method includes the steps of selecting an oil pre-conditioning configuration wherein the secondary shaft does not rotate and at least one of the first electric motor or the second electric motor rotates while the other is in driving mode leading to the heating of the oil to reach a threshold temperature and applying the selected oil pre-conditioning configuration.
