Firefighting helicopter fans
The firefighting helicopter fans comprise a left pivoting cowled fan and a right pivoting cowled fan mounted onto the sides of a helicopter. The fans may be used to create an airstream, which counters the prevailing wind and/or blows flames and embers away from unburned materials. The fans are each protected by a cowl that surrounds the blades to protect the blades and direct the airstream. The left pivoting cowled fan and the right pivoting cowled fan are each coupled to the helicopter by a pivot axis and a pivot motor which allows the fanes to be aim directly forward, directly down, or any angle in between.
FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates broadly to a fire control system generally comprising a capture device arranged to capture heat associated with a fire and its by-products, a heat exchanger associated with the capture device for conversion of a working fluid to an expanded working fluid, and a delivery device operatively coupled to the heat exchanger configured to deliver the expanded working fluid to the fire for control of the fire. The fire control system may also be configured so as to draw by-products of the fire into a nozzle, or entrain oxygen through the nozzle, for acceleration through the nozzle and toward the fire.
Dry Material Moving Machine
A dry material moving machine system; the dry material moving machine system includes a portable or stationary dry material moving machine including a power unit powering the dry material moving machine and connected to a positive air blower or blowers having an air inlet, an outlet in communication with a delivery line, a dry media hopper including a feeder unit configured to direct dry material to the delivery line, and a hose reel. The delivery line is connected to and in communication with a hose to direct the dry material to a fire in order to suppress and extinguish the fire. The dry material is used to constrict an oxygen supply to bring about fire containment quickly through a smothering effect.
PORTABLE FAN
The present invention is directed to a portable fan for the use in firefighting and other ventilation use-cases. The portable fan provides firefighters the ability to provide positive pressure ventilation in use for fighting fires which does not require power cables or combustible fuel powered motors, and provides increased portability, reduced risk, and reduced deployment time associated with managing and fighting a fire.
COMPRESSED AIR ARTIFICIAL WIND SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF, FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT
The present invention provides a compressed air artificial wind system including compressed air storage device, compressed air discharge device, artificial wind system base and controller; also a firefighting equipment including an extinguishing agent tank and the compressed air artificial wind system. The compressed air storage device includes row tubes and manifolds for production and storage of high/ultra-high pressure compressed air; the compressed air discharge device includes intake pipe, expansion chamber, Laval nozzle and wind-blowing tube; the artificial wind system base is built as an infrastructure. Large quantity of high/ultra-high pressure compressed air under control from the compressed air storage device and through the compressed air discharge device to spray out generating artificial wind with large air volume and high wind speed for meteorological control, forest firefighting, air defence and coastal defence, respectively.
Fire-fight ventilator with ovalised air jet
A fire fighting blower (1) comprises a propeller (2) coaxially mounted in a tubular casing (3) for generating an axial airflow. The blower comprises an airflow guiding device (9) in the casing (3) for obtaining a concentrated air jet having a substantially ovalized section, it comprises within the tubular casing (3) an assembly of first deflectors (4) for concentrating the axial airflow and generating a concentrated axial air jet and an assembly of second deflectors (16, 17) for generating an air stream deflected from the concentrated axial air jet so that the concentrated air jet having an ovalized section is a combination of the concentrated axial air jet and the deflected air stream.
Fluid Flow Control Device
This invention relates in general to a device for controlling the flow of a fluid. The device having a plurality of motor assemblies mounted at equidistant points around a mounting collar. An elongated annular outer casing surrounds and is spaced outwardly from the motor assemblies and defines with the motor assemblies an annular air passage. The outer casing having a central longitudinal axis, an open forward end for receiving ambient air and an open rear end for discharging air forced fluid. The device has a supporting structure on which the outer casing is mounted and a fluid flow assembly. A turntable is coupled to the supporting structure for rotation and an actuating assembly is used for raising and lowering the outer casing, wherein the actuating assembly is coupled between the supporting structure and outer surface of the outer casing.
System and method for extinguishing wildfires from a distance using soundwaves
A system and method for extinguishing wildfires with the assistance of soundwaves at a distance is provided. The system generally comprises a camera, output device, waveguide, processor, power supply, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that instruct the processor to perform operations of the system. In one preferred embodiment, a database may be operably connected to the processor and store any data associated with a combustion reaction therein. In some preferred embodiments, the system may comprise a computing device having a user interface, which may present, to a user, data that may inform the user about a particular combustion reaction and/or allow the user to control the system remotely. The system and method are designed to safely stop wildfires without a resource that must be spent and subsequently replenished.
CANDLE BLOWING APPARATUS
A candle blowing apparatus may have a main housing, a mouthpiece, at least one filter cartridge, and an ornamental endpiece. The main housing may have a first end and a second end. The mouthpiece may be removably attached to the first end of the main housing. The at least one filter cartridge may include at least one filter. The filter cartridge may be removably disposed within the main housing between the first end and the second end. The filter cartridge may be in fluid communication with the mouthpiece. The ornamental endpiece may be removably attached to the second end of the main housing and be in fluid communication with the filter cartridge. The ornamental endpiece together with the mouthpiece and the filter cartridge may define an air flow path for hygienic delivery of an extinguishing gust of air to a candle.
