Vehicle and control method for vehicle

In a case where intermediate gear stage fault occurs, an electronic control unit determines, using a predetermined relationship for determining gear stage switching between a gear stage on a lower side than the intermediate gear stage by one stage and the intermediate gear stage, whether or not to execute gear stage switching between the low gear stage and a gear stage on a higher than the intermediate gear stage by one stage. For example, compared to using a relationship for determining gear stage switching between a gear stage on the higher side and the intermediate gear stage, it is possible to execute gear stage switching between a gear stage on the lower side and a gear stage on the higher side in a low vehicle speed region. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the influence on vehicle behavior.

Apparatus for controlling automatic transmission and method of controlling automatic transmission

A control apparatus of an automatic transmission includes an electric hydraulic pump including a motor and a pump, an actuator for engaging or releasing a friction element by controlling a hydraulic pressure discharged from the pump, and a transmission control unit (TCU) for correcting a control signal to control the actuator depending on a dynamic characteristic coefficient of the friction element and the actuator during shifting when outputting the control signal to the actuator.

Power regeneration optimization in a hybrid vehicle

A hybrid controller unit includes a detection module, a gear-hold module, a gear-skip module, and an optimizing module. The detection module is structured to detect a deceleration event. The gear-hold module is structured to determine whether a certain gear of a transmission should be maintained for a certain period of time in order to optimize power regeneration during the deceleration event. The gear-hold module is also structured to generate a gear-hold request. The gear-skip module is structured to determine whether the transmission should skip a gear in order to optimize power regeneration during the deceleration event. The gear-skip module is also structured to generate a gear-skip request. The optimizing module is structured to receive the gear-hold request and the gear-skip request and generate a transmission command to be sent to a transmission control unit for actuation.

Gear-shifting device for vehicle

A gear-shifting device for a vehicle is provided and includes a guide body that has a first end portion connected to a control shaft, installed so that a second end portion is rotated at the first end portion as an axis in a rotational displacement that corresponds to a selecting path to perform a selecting operation, and installed to be moved in a substantially straight displacement that corresponds to a shifting path along an axis direction of the first end portion to perform a shifting operation. A guide unit is disposed to distinguish each shifting path on the selecting path in which the second end portion of the guide body is rotated and is configured to guide the second end portion of the guide body to be movable along the shifting path.

Control device for vehicle and control method for vehicle

When a power-on downshift via an intermediate shift stage accompanied by input switching control is required and a predetermined shift stage is a shift stage lower than the intermediate shift stage, an electronic control unit performs torque phase control in a torque phase control time shorter than the torque phase control time that is set when the predetermined shift stage is a shift stage higher than the intermediate shift stage. Accordingly, it is possible to complete disengagement of a disengagement-side element early and to suppress a rapid increase of an input shaft rotation speed due to a clutch torque remaining.

A motor vehicle having a drive unit, the power output shaft of which outputs alternately to a first sub-transmission or a second sub-transmission of a dual clutch transmission by way of two separating clutches of a dual clutch. The first sub-transmission has the odd-numbered forward gears and the second sub-transmission has the even-numbered forward gears, and having a transmission control device, which has a driving strategy unit for determining a target gear as a function of input parameters and a shift sequence control unit, with which a gear change from the current gear to the target gear can be controlled.

Controller for automatic transmission

When there is a request for a skip downshift that transitionally establishes an intermediate speed position, a surge hydraulic pressure at the start of a torque phase during shift control toward the intermediate speed position is set so as to be lower than a surge hydraulic pressure at the start of a torque phase during shift control toward a required speed position.

ELECTRONIC CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (ECVT) SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

An electronic continuously variable transmission (ECVT) system applicable to a motorcycle includes a first speed sensor, second speed sensor, continuously variable transmission (CVT) and control unit. The control unit receives a user control signal and accordingly controls a speed-changing state of the CVT. While the motorcycle is operating in a manual-operation mode, the control unit predicts, according to the user control signal, a first speed signal sent from the first speed sensor, and a second speed signal sent from the second speed sensor, whether the next gear indicated by the shift request signal will cause the motorcycle to move unsteadily. If so, the control unit ignores the shift request signal and refuses to perform gear shifting. If not, the control unit sends at least a shift control signal to the CVT so that the CVT performs gear shifting.

CONTROL DEVICE FOR TRANSMISSION

A control device for a transmission that has multiple shift stages and is configured to change an amount of power output from an engine of a vehicle for output includes a setting unit and a control unit. The setting unit is capable of setting, as a shift change mode, either one of a first shift change mode and a second shift change mode in which a speed of the engine is maintained in a higher state than that in the first shift change mode. The control unit is configured to execute shift change control on a basis of the set shift change mode. The control unit is configured to exclude one or more shift stages of the multiple shift stages and execute the shift change control when the second shift change mode is set.

GEAR SHIFT CONTROL DEVICE, A VEHICLE USING THE SAME, AND GEAR SHIFT CONTROL METHOD

A gear shift mechanism controlled by a gear shift control device includes a plurality of engagement mechanisms and engages three engagement mechanisms to establish any one of a plurality of shift stages. The gear shift control device is adapted to change speed to a desired shift stage set by a manual operation. If a gear shift to the desired shift stage involves the skipping of one or more shift stages and the switching of two or more engagement mechanisms among the plurality of engagement mechanisms that are currently engaged, then the gear shift control device performs the gear shift to the desired shift stage such that the engagement mechanisms to be switched via a shift stage or stages to be skipped are switched one by one.
