Neighborhood of homes provided with a system installed for proactively forming and maintaining environmentally-clean chemical fire protection zones over the property and ground surfaces of the neighborhood
A neighborhood of buildings or homes, provided with a system for forming and maintaining GPS tracked and mapped environmentally-clean chemical-based fire protection zones formed over property and ground surfaces in and about the neighborhood of homes, that proactively inhibit fire ignition and flame spread when exposed to wild fire. The system includes a GPS-tracking anti-fire (AF) liquid spraying system wirelessly connected to a wireless communication network supporting a network database. The GPS-tracked anti-fire liquid spraying system is used to spray particular GPS-specified ground surfaces in and about the buildings and neighborhood, with an environmentally-clean anti-fire chemical liquid so to form environmentally-clean chemical fire protection zones over the GPS-specified property surfaces, while generating GPS-coordinate and time/date stamped data records pertaining to the application of the environmentally-clean anti-fire chemical liquid spray during the formation of the environmentally-clean chemical fire protection zones. The GPS-coordinate and time/date stamped data records are transmitted over the wireless communication network for storage in the network database. A mobile computing system is used to access the GPS-coordinate and time/date stamped data records from the network database, relating to the formation of the GPS-specified environmentally-clean chemical fire protection zones, so as to verify that the GPS-specified environmentally-clean chemical fire protection zones were formed at the GPS-specified property surfaces on the particular date, to proactively inhibit fire ignition and flame spread when exposed to wild fire.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A FOREST FIRE
The invention relates to a method for detecting and/or locating a forest fire with the steps of receiving information, positioning a forest fire detection unit based on the information received and detecting and/or locating the fire source with the forest fire detection unit, wherein the positioning and/or detecting and/or locating take place autonomously. The invention further relates to an autonomous forest fire detection unit with a navigation unit, an autonomous control unit and a locating unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A FOREST FIRE
The invention relates to a method for detecting and/or locating a forest fire, comprising the following method steps: receiving information, generating a control command, sending the control command and/or information and carrying out a forest fire detection process. The invention further relates to a forest fire detection system comprising a network device, a server unit, a gateway, a first terminal, the first terminal having a sensor unit, and a second terminal, the second terminal having a forest fire detection element.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FIGHTING FOREST FIRES
The invention relates to a method for fighting and/or extinguishing a forest fire comprising the steps of detecting a fire source in a forest area, locating the fire source and automatically fighting and/or extinguishing the fire source, and to a forest fire fighting device with a fire sensor, a locating system and an automatic extinguishing unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A FOREST FIRE
The invention relates to a forest fire detection unit comprising a drive, a detection unit designed and adapted to detect a source of fire, a navigation unit and a locating unit designed and adapted to locate a source of fire. The invention further relates to a method for detecting and/or locating a forest fire, comprising the following steps: receiving information, decoupling a forest fire detection unit from a forest fire detection station, and starting a forest fire detection process for detecting and/or locating a forest fire.
UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) CONTROLLED NETTING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) controlled netting system is disclosed. The system includes a mesh netting and a battery powered UAV. The mesh netting includes a plurality of nettings arranged as interspersed layers in a mesh form. Each of the plurality of nettings has fire-resistant property. The battery powered UAV is present at an aerial location and the mesh netting is coupled to the battery powered UAV. The battery powered UAV is configured to maintain the mesh netting afloat and auto-adjust size of the mesh netting and porosity, based on one or more of size of embers in a fire and the quality of the fire.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A FOREST FIRE
The invention relates to a method for detecting and/or localising a forest fire, comprising the following method steps: performing a first detection of a seat of the fire using a first forest fire detection sensor; performing a first localisation of the seat of the fire; positioning a second forest fire detection sensor; performing a second detection of a seat of the fire; performing a second localisation of the seat of the fire; fighting and/or extinguishing the seat of the fire by means of a forest fire detection unit. The invention also relates to: a forest fire detection system comprising a first forest fire detection sensor for detecting forest fires, a position determining system which is suitable and designed for determining the position of the first forest fire detection sensor, and a second forest fire detection sensor; a locating system which si suitable and designed for determining the position of a seat of the fire; and a forest fire detection unit.
PILOT CONTROLLED REFILL TANKS FOR FIREFIGHTING AIRCRAFT
A system for filling a tank for a firefighting helicopter with water without ground personnel, comprising a pilot controlled valve assembly to selectively permit water to flow into the refill tank upon the receipt of a communication transmitted by a communication device within the helicopter. The pilot controlled valve assembly can include a supply valve configured to move between at least a closed state and an open state, a controller configured to control the supply valve, and a receiver configured to send a signal to a controller to cause the controller to at least open the supply valve upon receipt by the receiver of a communication meeting one or more predetermined criteria. The water tank can be filled from a water source, including a municipal water source, when the supply valve is open to provide a more efficient, semi-autonomous refill tank system greatly improves costly and time-consuming manually refill systems.

The invention further relates to a forest fire detection device comprising a fire sensor, a locating system and an automatic forest fire detection unit.
Systems and Methods for the Optimal Coordination of Manned and Unmanned Aircraft for Wildfire Surveillance and Suppression
A wildfire mitigation manager is described. The wildfire mitigation manager may manage agents during a wildfire in order to achieve a specified goal, such as minimization of damages. Such agents may include surveillance agents and/or suppression agents. The agents may be associated with manned and/or unmanned aircraft. The coordination of unmanned aircraft in proximity to and in conjunction with manned aircraft may result in enhanced wildfire surveillance and suppression performance. Unmanned aircraft conducting surveillance may be selectively guided in order to optimize locations for capturing wildfire information. Manned aircraft may likewise be guided to locations optimized for wildfire suppression and suggestions as to the ideal method of execution (e.g., when using water buckets, spot drops versus line drops) may be provided.
