JOINED TWO PLY W SEAL
A metal gasket bellows seal includes a first ply and a second ply coupled to the first ply at a first location via spot joining at one or more locations.
Seal Assembly with Deflectable Sealing Member
A seal assembly is for sealing about a shaft rotatable about a central axis and includes a generally annular seal disposeable about the shaft. The seal has a first axial end exposable to a higher pressure fluid, an opposing second axial end exposable to a lower pressure fluid, an outer circumferential surface exposable to the higher pressure fluid and an inner circumferential sealing surface. The inner sealing surface extends about the shaft to define an annular clearance space between the shaft outer surface and the seal inner surface, which provides a flow path between the seal axial ends. The seal is configured such that a differential of at least a predetermined magnitude between fluid pressure on the seal outer surface and fluid pressure on the seal inner surface deflects at least the seal second axial end radially inwardly to reduce the volume of the clearance space.
Brush seal assembly
A brush seal assembly may include: a packing body configured to be positioned between a rotating body and a fixing body and provided with an insertion groove; a brush seal part configured to include a brush extending toward the rotating body in a state in which one end of the brush seal part is inserted into the insertion groove and a support member supporting the brush; a thermal expansion member configured to adhere to a side of the support member and be thermally expanded in a circumferential direction of the packing body; and a fixing member configured to be fitted in the insertion groove to face the thermal expansion member to simultaneously fix the brush seal part in the circumferential direction and a radial direction of the packing body.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device includes a seal ring 200 made of resin which is in close contact with a side wall surface on a low pressure side of an annular groove 410, and slides against an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole in a housing 500 through which a shaft 400 is inserted. A metal spring 300 presses the seal ring 200 toward an outer peripheral surface side, wherein a concave portion 220 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the seal ring 200 which extends from an end portion on a high pressure side of the outer peripheral surface to a position which does not reach an end portion on a low pressure side of the outer peripheral surface, and introduces a fluid from the high pressure side.
Non-contacting dynamic seal
A seal for a gas turbine engine includes a full hoop outer ring, a shoe coupled to the full hoop outer ring via an inner beam and an outer beam, and a wave spring in contact with at least one of the inner beam or the outer beam.

Assembly, more particularly turbomachine, comprising a shaft seal device
An assembly, more particularly a turbomachine, includes a shaft, which extends along an axis, a shaft seal device for sealing an annular gap between the shaft and a stator in order to seal a process fluid chamber in relation to the environment. The shaft seal device has a ferrofluid shaft seal. At the process fluid chamber, the shaft seal device includes, in addition to the ferrofluid shaft seal, an additional shaft seal. The ferrofluid shaft seal is arranged at the annular gap axially between the first shaft seal and the environment. A pressure sink is provided at the annular gap axially between the additional shaft seal and the ferrofluid shaft seal.
Hydrostatic seal with non-parallel beams for anti-tipping
A hydrostatic advanced low leakage seal configured to be disposed between relatively rotatable components. The seal includes a base. The seal also includes a shoe extending circumferentially. The seal further includes a radially outer beam operatively coupling the shoe to the base. The seal yet further includes a radially inner beam operatively coupling the shoe to the base, wherein one of the radially inner beam and the radially outer beam is oriented to be angled relative to the other of the radially inner and outer beam.

Stirling cycle machine
A rod seal assembly. The rod seal assembly includes a housing between two spaces configured to receive a reciprocating rod, the reciprocating rod disposed within a first space and a second space, a floating bushing configured to move axially and radially within the housing and disposed coaxially around the reciprocating rod, a rod seal configured to seal the outside diameter of the reciprocating rod relative to an inside surface of the floating bushing, and at least one stationary bushing fixed within the housing that may form a seal with the floating bushing to the axial flow of fluid in the presence of a pressure difference between the two spaces.
