MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF VALVE PLATE WITH RESPECT TO VALVE ROD

When a part of a hole rear wall of a mounting hole formed in a valve plate and a part of a rod rear wall of a mounting portion of a valve rod have formed thereat inclined portions, respectively, that produce a wedge effect by abutting upon each other and when the valve plate and the valve rod are fixed in a direction of an axis by a valve-plate fixing screw, a wedge effect when the inclined portions and abut upon each other causes a rod front wall of the mounting portion and a hole front wall of the mounting hole to come into close contact with each other and the valve plate and the valve rod to be precisely and firmly fixed to each other so as not to rotate relative to each other.

WASTEGATE VALVE OF TURBOCHARGER

A wastegate valve of a turbocharger includes a swing arm that includes a shaft and a lever including an insertion hole, a valve body including a valve shaft inserted into the insertion hole and a valve plate arranged on an end of the valve shaft, a support plate fixed to a portion of the valve shaft protruding out of the insertion hole, and an elastic member arranged between the support plate and the lever or the lever and the valve plate. The elastic member includes a ring, claws curved toward a first side in an axial direction of the ring, and a projection projecting from the ring toward the first side. The projection length of the projection is smaller than a distance obtained by subtracting the thickness of the lever from the distance between the valve plate and the support plate in the axial direction of the valve shaft.

Movable shutter for a fluid conduit

EXPANDING GATE VALVE ASSEMBLY WITH PRESSURE EQUALIZATION SYSTEM

A gate valve for a pressurized pipe includes a paddle member with a lower proximal portion and a pair of spaced-apart and leg portions that form an outer edge and an inner edge. A cartridge includes a valve stem channel extending through a distal portion and through a conduit and terminating at a proximal opening in a proximal portion of the cartridge. The proximal portion of the cartridge includes a slot for accommodating the inner edge of the paddle member. In a pre-compression configuration, the inner edge of the paddle member is spaced-apart from the proximal opening of the conduit and in a post-compression configuration, the inner edge of the paddle member engages and seals the proximal opening resulting in a built-in check-valve that is open when the paddle member is in the pre-compression configuration and closed when the paddle member is in the post-compression configuration.
