20210254729 · 2021-08-19 · ·

An encapsulated valve system includes a first housing portion having a first facing surface, the first facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the first facing surface. The valve system further includes a second housing portion having a second facing surface, the second facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the second facing surface. A disposable conduit is configured to be interposed between the first and second housing portions and disposed within the recess of the first facing surface and the recess of the second facing surface. The disposable conduit is thus sandwiched between the first and second facing surfaces. A plurality of pinch valve actuators are mounted on one or both of the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the plurality of pinch valve actuators configured to pinch the disposable conduit at selective branch pathways.

GATE VALVE WITH IMPROVED BONNET SEAL ASSEMBLY
20210231222 · 2021-07-29 ·

A gate valve includes a valve body, a flow bore which extends completely through the valve body, a gate cavity which extends partially through the valve body and intersects the flow bore, a bonnet which is mounted to the valve body over the gate cavity and includes a stem bore which extends axially therethrough and is connected to the gate cavity, a valve stem which is movably positioned in the stem bore, a gate which is connected to the second end of the valve stem and is movable by the valve stem between a closed position in which fluid flow through the flow bore is blocked and an open position in which fluid flow through the flow bore is permitted, and a bonnet seal assembly for sealing the stem bore against fluid pressure in the cavity. The bonnet seal assembly includes a generally cylindrical packing nut which is positioned in the stem bore around the valve stem and includes first and second spaced-apart annular sealing surfaces which are formed concentrically with the stem bore, a third annular sealing surface which is connected to or formed integrally with the valve stem, and a fourth annular sealing surface which is formed concentrically in the stem bore. In a first position of the valve stem, the first annular sealing surface sealingly engages the third annular sealing surface to thereby form a first seal between the valve stem and the packing nut, and the second annular sealing surface sealing engages the fourth annular sealing surface to thereby form a second seal between the packing nut and the stem bore. In this manner, the first and second seals together operate to seal the stem bore from fluid pressure in the gate cavity.

Tank valve and tank with such a valve

A tank valve with a valve seat and a valve disc can be displaced relative to the valve seat along a displacement direction into either a closed position or a through-flow position. The valve seat includes a plate shaped part and a ring-shaped part. The valve disc has a first contact area which contacts the first plate shaped part of the valve seat when the tank valve is in the closed position. The valve disc also has a second contact area which is in contact with a second part of the valve seat when it is in the closed position.

Pilot-operated hydraulic directional cartridge valve

A pilot-operated hydraulic directional cartridge valve includes an installation sleeve and a control slide. The installation sleeve includes a bore, a first portion towards its front end face, a third portion towards its rear end face, and a second portion between the first and third portions. The first portion has a first external sealing diameter and the third portion has a second external sealing diameter greater than the first external sealing diameter. The second portion includes radial openings and possesses an external diameter greater than first external sealing diameter and smaller than the second external sealing diameter in the region of the radial openings. The control slide is guided in the axial direction on a guide diameter of the installation sleeve, behind the radial openings. The ratio between the first external sealing diameter and the guide diameter is in the range between 1.10 and 1.22.
