The multi-modular system comprises more than one modular unit, fluid, fluid conduit, reservoir, air flow generator, multi-modular unit support structure, aerial suspension system and aerial lift system.
Foaming unit for producing foam from a mixture of gas and liquid and a sprayer for producing and dispensing foam
A foaming unit for producing foam from a mixture of gas and liquid. The foaming unit comprising a housing, a slide, a foaming element, an inlet for the mixture of gas and liquid and an outlet, the slide and the housing being movable relative to each other, the foaming element being arranged hydraulically between the inlet and the outlet, wherein an active volume of the foaming element can be adjusted by changing the relative position of a control edge and an end face of the foaming element.
Vehicle-mounted large-flow fire-fighting foam fluid mixing system
The present invention discloses a vehicle-mounted large-flow fire-fighting foam fluid mixing system, including a supply kit, a mixing kit, a control kit, and a pipeline kit. The supply kit includes an auxiliary gas supply device, a fire pump, an integrated foam pump, a fire pump main motor, and a coupling. The mixing kit includes a fire monitor interface, a foam generating device, and a fluid mixing device. The control kit includes a foam mixing proportion single-chip microcomputer control system, an alarm module, a power module, an auxiliary air compressor switch module, a frequency converter, and a central control display screen. The pipeline kit includes an air drainage tube, a fire hose, a foam liquid pipe, and a pipeline valve. For the problems of flow fluctuation and low foam foaming efficiency, the present invention optimizes the design and adopts a new control policy, thereby implementing precise mixing under the large-flow condition.
SPRAYABLE FOAMED ROCK DUST COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Provided is a foamed dust composition and a method of using the foamed dust composition. The foamed dust composition contains an aqueous foam comprising a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, water, and a rock dust. The foamed dust composition is sprayed onto coal mine surfaces to prevent coal dust explosion in the event of a fire.
Method and Device for Producing an Extinguishing Foam Containing an Extinguishing Gas
The present invention relates to a method for producing compressed-air foam and to a corresponding device. The method comprises providing fire-fighting water admixed with foaming agent, and foaming the fire-fighting water admixed with foaming agent, with addition of compressed gas, wherein the compressed gas comprises a chemical extinguishing agent. The method according to the invention and the device according to the invention allow the production of an effective extinguishing foam due to the inhibitory effect of the chemical extinguishing agent.
COMPRESSED AIR FOAM MIXING SYSTEM
A compressed air foam mixing system that has a mixing device connected to a discharge port of a tank. The mixing device receives fluid from the tank and pressurized air from the tank or alternatively directly from a source of pressurized air. The fluid and pressurized air are combined within the mixing device to form a foam.
MOBILE FIRE EXTINGUISHING APPARATUS WITH PRESSURIZED FOAM GENERATION
The invention relates to fire-fighting ground vehicles. A mobile fire extinguishing apparatus with pressurized foam generation comprises: a mixing chamber for supplying foam to a fire; and, a water supply system comprising a water supply pump with a drive, a foam-forming concentrate supply system comprising a foam pump with a drive, and also an air supply system comprising an air compressor with a drive. The drives of the compressor and of the foam pump are in the form of an adjustable hydraulic transmission of the air compressor drive and an adjustable hydraulic transmission of the foam pump drive, which are connected to a driving motor. The apparatus comprises a water meter, a gate valve having an electric drive, and a non-return valve, which are mounted on a water supply pipe between the water supply pump and the mixing chamber, and an electronic control unit for the gate valve.
Enhanced foam spray pattern device
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a foam fluid dispensing device that allows for quick and easy adjustment between a straight stream and dispersed stream. A user can quickly adjust between various stream patterns using a common motion in nozzle operation. An example device can comprise a nozzle comprising a nozzle body and an inlet configured to receive a flow of fluid, with a nozzle stem centrally disposed in the nozzle and fixedly engaged with the nozzle body. The device can also comprise a foam tube configured to receive and dispense at least a portion of the flow of fluid from the nozzle, with a foam tube coupler fixedly engaged with the foam tube. The foam tube coupler can be configured to operably couple with the nozzle stem.
EXPANDABLE FIRE-FIGHTING FOAM SYSTEM, COMPOSITION, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A method of manufacturing a self-expanding fire-fighting foam solution is disclosed. Here, the method can include purging air from a container, wherein the purging is performed via flowing an inert gas into the container, such that substantially inert environment is created within the container. In addition, the method can further include dispensing or filling a pre-determined amount of foam concentrate into a container, dispensing or filling a pre-determined amount of water into the container, and mixing the foam concentrate and water within the container, wherein the mixed foam and water within the inert container provide the self-expanding fire-fighting foam solution and having a pH ranging from about 6.8 to 7.8 moles per liter.
AERIAL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
An embodiment of a fire suppression apparatus for fighting fires from an aerial vehicle is disclosed having a foam and water held in separate containers that when mixed forms a fire retardant in the separate water container, a pump driven by a first electric motor, the pump including an air induction valve positioned at the pump inlet where air and the fire retardant are drawn into the inlet and pressurized simultaneously by the pump, a primer pump driven by a second electric motor to prime the inlet with the fire retardant before starting the pump, an inverter to control startup of the first electric motor, and an aimable boom connected to the pump by a conduit, the boom including a nozzle on a distal end of the boom from which the pressurized water/foam/air fire retardant is dispensed toward a target. Vertical mount plates can attach the apparatus to opposite sides of the helicopter.
