20190040963 · 2019-02-07 ·

A high pressure fluid system including enhanced safety, maintenance and servicing features. The system can include a CAM assembly module, having a valve seat assembly, seal cartridge assembly and inlet manifold, that is easily installed in and removed from a frame and/discharge manifold as a single unit. A discharge manifold can isolate different pressure rated passageways of the system, and multiple rupture discs associated with the same. A discharge manifold end plate can be included to provide ease of repair of discharge outlets and to establish a plumbing system for the rupture discs. A quick coupler can facilitate connection between a plunger of the seal cartridge assembly and a cross head stub connected to a power frame. A lubrication valve assembly can provide and meter lubrication from a high pressure inlet source to a plunger and packing of the seal cartridge assembly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE

A blood pressure measurement system is provided that includes an inflatable cuff, a valve assembly and chamber assembly. The chamber assembly can house a gas canister for providing gas to the inflatable cuff. The valve assembly can include a valve having a high pressure cavity, a low pressure cavity, and a channel providing a gas pathway between the high pressure cavity and the low pressure cavity. The valve assembly can further include a channel cover and spring in the high pressure cavity. The spring can exert a force on the channel cover to create a seal between the high pressure cavity and the channel. The valve assembly can further include a rod extending through the channel and exerting a force on the channel cover to create a gas pathway between the high pressure cavity and the channel.

PNEUMATIC INFLATION SYSTEM

A high pressure fluid system including enhanced safety, maintenance and servicing features. The system can include a cartridge assembly module, having a valve seat assembly and a seal cartridge assembly selectively joinable with one another and installable within the high pressure fluid system.

AIRCRAFT REFUELING BOOM SYSTEM WITH NOZZLE SECURITY MEANS
20180178924 · 2018-06-28 ·

An Air Refueling Boom System comprising a boom joined to the tanker aircraft by means of a mechanical articulation with an inner fuel conduit and a nozzle at its distal end. The tip module of the boom includes a breakable section for separating the tip module in a first and a second portion for allowing a safe separation of tanker and receiver aircraft in a failure event of a refueling operation and linking means of its first and second portions to allow their separation in case of an overload on the nozzle when it is latched to the receptacle and to allow their separation in case of an overload on the nozzle when it is latched to the receptacle.

Electrochemical Energy Store, Means of Transport, Cell Vent and Method for Manufacturing a Cell Vent

The present disclosure is directed to an electrochemical energy store, a means of transport, a manufacturing method and a cell vent for an electrochemical energy store. In one form a cell vent comprises a first layer comprising a metal and a second layer comprising a first plastic, wherein the first layer and the second layer are arranged successively with respect to a pressure differential on the cell vent.

Valve for closing a fluid line
20180087686 · 2018-03-29 ·

A valve for closing a fluid line, comprising: an inlet element with an inlet line; an outlet element with an outlet line; a closing element which, in a first state, allows a fluid passage between the inlet line and the outlet line and which, in a second state, closes the fluid passage, wherein the closing element, in the first state, is fixedly connected to the inlet element or the outlet element and, in the second state, is detached from the inlet element or the outlet element; an actuator which, when actuated, is configured to move the closing element from the first state towards the second state; and a pretension element which is pretensioned and is configured to move the closing element into the second state after actuation of the actuator.

Configurable fluid channel sealing devices and methods

Fluid channel sealing devices, frangible seals, fluid circuits, associated controllers and methods of using the same are provided for controlling fluid distribution using a reconfigurable blocking element having first and second portions to establish a first configuration free of any open channels such that fluid is prevented from flowing through the channel and a second configuration where the first and second portions are separated to establish an open channel and allow fluid to pass.
