A coaxial liquid pressure regulator includes a housing having an inlet portion and an outlet portion, a substantially tubular valve member slidingly accommodated inside the housing and having a longitudinal axial passage and an upstream end with an inlet edge for the liquid, a valve body fixed inside the inlet portion and defining a seat that interacts with the inlet edge of the valve member and forms therewith a port having a variable width. The inlet portion includes an inlet fitting and a collection chamber directly downstream from the inlet fitting and the valve body includes a cantilever element transversely extending from the inner wall of the collection chamber. First and second deflection elements are arranged between the inlet fitting and the inlet edge, which facilitate flow conveyance toward the port and the longitudinal passage of the valve member.

TIRE PRESSURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An assembly for a tire pressure management system includes a housing. The housing includes a first branch and a second branch. The second branch is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to the first branch. The first branch and the second branch are in fluid communication with each other and a main branch. The main branch is rotatable with respect to the first branch. A valve assembly is housed within the first branch. The valve assembly provides selective fluid communication between a portion of the tire pressure management system and the main branch. A pressure relief valve assembly is housed within the second branch. The pressure relief valve assembly provides selective fluid communication between the assembly and the atmosphere.

Valve

A valve 10, for relieving ground water pressure on a swimming pool for containing pool water. A body 30 defines a flow path. An element 20 is mounted to be moved in a direction from a position, in which at least one feature 22 of the element co-operates with at least one feature 33 of the body to form a sealing arrangement to block the flow path to retain the pool water, to a position in which the flow path is open to allow ground water into the swimming pool. The sealing arrangement defines an effective area over which the ground water pressure acts to drive the element in the direction, and an effective area over which pool water pressure acts to drive the element opposite the direction. The co-operable features are configured such that a ratio, of the effective area over which the ground water pressure acts to the effective area over which pool water pressure acts, has a value of at least 0.9.

BYPASS VALVE IN AN APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING VACUUM

Venturi devices are disclosed that have a housing defining a conduit having a Venturi gap. Downstream of and bypassing the Venturi gap is a bypass check valve that defines an internal cavity having a first seat, a second seat, an inlet port, at least two outlet ports, and a seal member seated therein that is translatable between a closed position against the first seat and an open position against the second seat. The two outlet ports of the bypass check valve enter the conduit at opposing positions disposed a distance from a top of the conduit, which is located at a midsagittal plane of the housing. Further, a transition from a tapering section downstream of the Venturi gap and upstream of each of the two outlet ports to a discharge section downstream of the two outlet ports forms a gradually, continuously tapering interior surface of the conduit.
