VALVE FOR SOFT RELEASE OF TRAPPED AIR AND FUNCTIONAL ASSEMBLY
An air pressure relief valve providing relief against both gradual and sudden changes in pressure is disposed on an opening of an assembly of parts. The valve includes a plurality of blades, the blades are circumferentially distributed and abut each other. Each blade includes a nozzle end, the nozzle ends abut each other, and a part of the nozzle end on each blade allows deformation by internal air pressure to form an air hole, wherein air can enter or exit the functional assembly through the air hole. The thickness of the blade gradually decreases in direction from a thick base end to the thinner-section air nozzle end.
VACUUM APERTURE VALVE ARRAY
A sheet 200 for an array of vacuum apertures 152 in a substrate support unit 150 of a printer is provided. The sheet 200 comprises a plurality of valves 202 formed into the sheet 200. The sheet 200 is made from a resilient material. Each valve 202 comprises a valve head 204 for sealing a vacuum aperture 152 in the substrate support unit 150, and a valve lever arm 206 for permitting movement of the valve head 204 towards and away from the vacuum aperture 152 in order to open and close the valve 202.
Check valve with flash seal
Check valve assemblies for fluid flow sets and devices are provided. The check valve assembly includes an inlet body including a fluid inlet, first and second seal beads, and a central channel. An outlet body includes a fluid outlet and a stem having a centering post, the centering post received by the central channel of the inlet body. A seal includes inner and outer rings, wherein the inner ring is configured to engage with the first seal bead and the outer ring is configured to engage with the second seal bead in a fully sealed position of the check valve assembly. Fluid flow sets and methods for manufacturing check valve assemblies are also provided.
AIR RELEASE VALVE WITH LOW PRESSURE SEALING
An air release valve (10) includes a housing (11) fluidly connectable to a water line, a valve seat (12) secured to a portion of the housing (11) and formed with one or more air exit passageways (14), a seal (18) formed as a spring disc and including a stem (28) slidingly engaged with the valve seat (12), and a weight (20) coupled to the seal (18). In a sealed configuration the seal (18) presses against the valve seat (12) and seals the one or more air exit passageways (14) from air passing therethrough and in an open configuration the seal (18) is moved by the weight (20) so that the seal (18) is not pressed against the valve seat (12) and allows passage of air through the one or more air exit passageways (14).
INFLATABLE OBJECT AND VALVE THEREFOR
In an aspect, an inflatable object includes an object body enclosing a chamber to receive air, and a valve mounted to the inflatable object body, including a valve body defining a passageway between the chamber and an ambient environment. The valve body has a shoulder. The valve body defines an outside end, which opens to the ambient environment, and an inside end, which opens into the chamber. The valve includes a one-way flap that is movable between an open position to permit fluid communication between the chamber and the ambient environment through the passageway, and a closed position. The one-way flap is biased to the closed position with a closing force selected to be overcomable to move the one-way flap to the open position by an airflow having a speed that is less than about 48 m/s, and which is at a pressure lower than 1 atmosphere.
FLUID CONTROL DEVICE
A fluid control device includes: a first flat plate; a frame disposed outside an outer peripheral end of the first flat plate via openings; a connection member connecting the first flat plate and the frame; a plate member having through holes in a portion facing the first flat plate; and a valve member configured to rectify a fluid flow. An outer end of the valve member projects toward an outside of the outer peripheral end of the first flat plate. A portion of the valve member closer to an inner end thereof located closer to a center of the first flat plate is fixed to the first flat plate. The outer end of the valve member is not fixed. The valve member has a first portion closer to the outer end, and a second portion closer to an inner end of the first portion.
System and method of manufacture for fluid container with check valve
A fluid container has a first and second flexible membrane forming at least one chamber, a channel configured to receive pressurized inert gas, and one or more check valve assemblies disposed therebetween. The one or more check valve assemblies is formed from a continuous third flexible membrane folded at an apex, and configured to provide the flow of pressurized fluid in one direction upon inflation, from the channel to the at least one chamber, while restricting flow in the opposite direction. The one or more check valve assemblies are characterized in that they do not require pre-printing or electronic registering, thus allowing for an inflation flow rate of at least twice that of conventional inflatable packaging systems.
Fuel cap with duckbill valve
A valve member provides for the flow of vapors from a fuel tank of an internal combustion engine to escape the fuel tank. The valve member may include a valve and a boss or spacer. The valve is configured to selectively control the flow of vapor from the fuel tank. The boss or spacer is positioned in a predetermined relationship to the valve, and the boss or spacer prevents a deformation of the valve from disrupting the selectively controlled flow of vapor from the fuel tank.
Sleeve for a pinch-type valve
The present utility model shows a sleeve (M′) that is designed so as to be completely closed in its normal position, which is pressed to prevent opening by means of a roller stem that stops the fluid from leaking; the present model makes it possible to avoid strain in the closing of the valve caused by overstretching which causes a shorter useful life and leaks in the seal. It also avoids excessive strain between the face of the sleeve (M) and the flange or body (C), avoiding breakages.
ELECTROPNEUMATIC FIELD DEVICE
An electropneumatic field device, such as an electropneumatic setting regulator or the like, incorporates a protective housing which has a housing cover and in which at least one electronic component and at least one pneumatic component are arranged. The protective housing is connected to at least one electric field input, at least one pneumatic supply inlet, and at least one pneumatic field outlet. The electric field input is connected to the electronic component, the pneumatic supply inlet and the pneumatic field outlet are coupled to the pneumatic component, the pneumatic component is connected to the electronic component for signaling purposes, and the protective housing has a ventilation device paired with the pneumatic component. The pneumatic component is at least partly surrounded by the housing cover which is releasably connected to the protective housing, and the ventilation device of the protective housing is integrated into the housing cover.
