Extendable stand pipe and flex joint modules
The disclosure teaches an adjustable/extendable piping system/module for associating fluid access products (such as fire hydrants) to a buried fluid source. The piping system defines an adjustable configuration that allows for the overall length of the piping system to be modified to compensate for different bury depths. The disclosure further teaches a flex module configured for associating a fluid product with a piping system connected to a fluid source. The flex module is configured to flex a predefined amount to prevent damage to the system from low energy impacts.
Sanitary hydrant
A sanitary hydrant comprises an isolated reservoir that can be positioned below a freeze level at the location of installation. A piston within the isolated reservoir is operable to expel, during a downward stroke, stored fluid from the reservoir before actuating a valve that allows fluid to flow from a fluid supply source through the hydrant. On an upward stroke, the piston releases the valve and generates a negative pressure within the reservoir that draws fluid from within the hydrant into the reservoir.
Hydrant shear valve and method
A system and method are disclosed for shutting off the flow of liquid to a hydrant. A break away frangible activator of a valve body becomes dislodged responsive to a hydrant receiving sufficient inadvertent impact. A valve member closes in response to the impact to close off the flow of fluid to the hydrant.
Infrastructure monitoring devices, systems, and methods
A leak detection assembly includes a leak detection sensor mountable on a surface of a component of a water infrastructure system; and a communications device mountable on the component, the leak detection sensor connected to the communications device, the communications device including an antenna, wherein the communications device is a component of an infrastructure monitoring system. A leak detection system includes a component of a water infrastructure system; a leak detection sensor mounted on a surface of the component; and a communications device positioned in proximity to the component and connected to the leak detection sensor, the communications device including an antenna, wherein the communications device is a component of an infrastructure monitoring system.
Main valve with grooved rigid internal structure
Disclosed is a main valve for a hydrant including an internal rigid structure including a top surface, a bottom surface, and a locating feature, the locating feature defined in a one of the top surface and the bottom surface; and an outer shell at least partially enclosing the internal rigid structure and interacting with the locating feature.
Hydrant Enclosure With Integral Faucet
Provided is an enclosure with an integrated hydrant. The enclosure includes a fluid flow conduit that transfers fluid from a fluid supply tube to a fluid outlet, which may be associated with the backflow preventer. The enclosure has a conduit that carries water from the fluid supply tube to the backflow preventer. Thus, a lower profile, lighter, and more aesthetically pleasing enclosure is provided.
A HYDRANT COMPRISING A HYDRANT HOUSING AND A VALVE SEAT AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING A VALVE SEAT IN A HYDRANT
Disclosed is a hydrant (1) comprising a hydrant housing (2) and a valve seat (3) arranged inside the hydrant housing (2). The hydrant (1) also comprises a valve body (4) resting against the valve seat (3) when the hydrant (1) is closed, wherein the valve seat (3) is arranged on an inner bayonet ring (5) being connected to an outer bayonet ring (6) through a bayonet coupling (7) and wherein the outer bayonet ring (6) is connected to the hydrant housing (2). A method for mounting a valve seat (3) in a hydrant (1) is also disclosed.

MAIN VALVE WITH GROOVED RIGID INTERNAL STRUCTURE
A method of manufacturing a main valve of a hydrant includes: forming an internal rigid structure including a top surface, a bottom surface, a side surface, and a locating feature, the locating feature defined in a one of the top surface and the bottom surface; positioning the internal rigid structure in a mold by contacting the locating feature with the mold; and forming an outer shell around the internal rigid structure.
