Meter box having adjustable length meter couplings

Illustrative embodiments of a meter box and couplings, either separately or in combination, are provided. An illustrative embodiment provides a valve coupling that is disposed through a wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the valve coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the valve coupling extends interior of the meter box. An outlet coupling is disposed through the wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the outlet coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the outlet coupling extends interior of the meter box. A telescoping tube is located in the meter box, extended into and movable relative to, and in fluid communication with, at least one of the second portion of the valve coupling and/or the second portion of the outlet coupling. The telescoping tube varies a distance between the valve coupling and the outlet coupling within the meter box.

VALVE

A valve (10) in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes a body (1) having a space in which a stem (3) and a ball (4) are housed, wherein an inner lid body (60) fixing the ball (4) in the space liquid-tightly partitions the space into a part in which the stem (3) is housed and a part in which the ball (4) is housed.

ROTARY VALVE

A rotary valve includes: a valve chamber in which at least three ports including at least a first port, a second port, and a third port are disposed in a circumferential direction; at least three external flow paths communicating with the three ports, respectively; and a valve rotor accommodated in the valve chamber so as to be rotatable and configured to switch a flow of a fluid between the ports by a rotation operation. The first port extends in the circumferential direction of a wall portion of the valve chamber. A first buffer portion is formed between the first port and the external flow path corresponding to the first port. The first buffer portion covers the entire first port and serves as a space having a circumferential width larger than a circumferential width of a valve flow path.

MULTI-PORT VALVE ASSEMBLY

A coolant flow control valve (CFCV) which includes an actuator having a microcontroller which drives an electric motor, such as a brushless DC motor. The motor drives a gear train, and the gear train drives a valve. The motor and gear train are used to rotate the valve to one or more positions, and thus direct coolant (passing through the valve) between ports. The valve is rotated to different positions to create various flow paths, such that coolant is directed between the different flow paths. The valve is a rotor having three different channels. The CFCV may also include a compound valve, where two valves are connected to and driven by one actuator. The valves may be of different shapes to accommodate inlet and outlet ports of various configurations.

FULL-FLOW SANITARY VALVE

A sanitary valve including a body including at least two body openings; a plug disposed within the body, rotatable around a vertical axis, moveable along the vertical axis within the body, and including a plug top surface, a lateral plug surface, and at least two plug openings; a stem including a first stem end attached to the top plug surface and a second stem end; and an actuator attached to the second stem end and operable to rotate the stem and the plug around the vertical axis and to move the stem and the plug along the vertical axis.

Integrated flow meter and control valve

Integrated flow meter and control valve (1) including a flow tube (11); a substantially watertight meter housing (12) providing a compartment (121), extending from the flow tube; a metering unit (139 arranged inside the compartment for measuring the flow of a medium flowing though the flow channel, and an electrical valve actuator (18) arranged inside the compartment and adapted to control a flow control element (19) arranged inside the flow channel, wherein that meter housing is formed as an integrated part of the flow tube with the compartment having a primary opening (124) for insertion of the metering unit and a secondary sealable opening (125) for insertion of the electrical valve actuator.

TOP ENTRY VALVE FOR SEVERE INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

A two-piece valve shell (body and bolted-on top bonnet having external fins to dissipate heat) structure reduces possible leakage paths while also providing a top-side ball/stem installation/removal path (when the bonnet piece is not present) to facilitate initial valve assembly as well as subsequent inspection/removal of the ball/stem and other valve internals for conducting valve maintenance without requiring the valve body to be removed from its process connections. In some implementations, a second/bottom bonnet is also attached to the body such that it covers another opening to the ball cavity.

Conical rotation valve

A rotary valve, comprising a valve housing with a valve chamber, wherein the valve chamber has a chamber wall in which at least two fluid openings are provided, wherein the valve chamber has a receiving opening on the end face side, wherein the valve chamber accommodates a valve core, wherein the valve core is provided with a channel structure which interacts with the fluid openings, wherein the valve core is supported in the valve chamber in a rotationally movable manner, wherein the valve chamber is formed in a conical shape.
