Strainer Assembly for Internal Valve

An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may close in response to a pressure change. The internal valve includes a strainer having an extended portion to be positioned in a clearance space between an upper portion of the valve body and an opening of a fluid container. The strainer is arranged for securement to a mounting area of the valve body by at least one fastener.

Internal Valve System with Valve Inlet Positioned Relative to Container Feed Inlet

An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may shift closed in response to a pressure change. The valve body includes a shoulder that is arranged for sealing engagement with a container flange and is between an inlet and a flange of the valve body and spaced away from the inlet. The shoulder is arranged on the valve body to place the inlet a desired distance away from the inner wall of the fluid container.

DRAIN FITTING FOR A PORTABLE TANK
20170198818 · 2017-07-13 ·

A drain valve for a portable tank has a flange securable externally to a wall of the tank and formed with a hole centered on a flange axis perpendicular to a face of the flange. A housing extends from the flange and forms a housing flow passage extending along a passage axis opening into the tank at the hole of the flange and forming an angle of less than 90 with the flange axis. A ball valve element in the housing at the housing flow passage is movable between an open position permitting flow through the housing flow passage and a closed position blocking such flow. A shaft journaled in the housing is fixed to the ball valve element and extends along a shaft axis substantially perpendicular to the passage axis. An actuator connected to the shaft outside the housing is operable to pivot the ball valve element about the shaft axis between the open and closed positions.

Actuator for a valve and a valve comprising such actuator

Actuator for a valve, comprising a first piston, a first piston rod and a first fluid chamber for enabling movement of the first piston and the first piston rod. The actuator has a second piston, a second piston rod, the second piston rod being coaxially arranged with the first piston rod and radially enclosing at least a part of the first piston rod. A second fluid chamber is arranged for the second piston, for enabling movement of the second piston and the second piston rod. A first fluid channel is arranged in communication with each of the first and the second fluid chambers, for effecting, when fluid is introduced into the first fluid channel, movement of the first piston and the second piston. Also, a valve comprising such actuator is disclosed.
