An expansion valve includes: a body having an insertion hole in a partition separating a first passage from a second passage; a power element configured to generate a drive force for opening or closing a valve section; a shaft extending through the insertion hole and configured to transmit the drive force to a valve element; a vibration-proof spring coaxially supporting the shaft and biasing the shaft radially inward to apply a sliding resistance thereto; and a flexible O-ring supported by one of an inner surface of the support part defining the insertion hole and an outer surface of the shaft and being in close contact with the other thereof. The O-ring, sliding portions of the shaft and the support part, and the vibration-proof spring are arranged in this order from a first passage side toward a second passage side in an axial direction of the shaft.

Valve assembly, in particular for space travel drive systems, which is closed when not actuated

A valve assembly includes an inlet and an outlet, which open into a working chamber of the valve assembly, and an actuator. In a non-actuated state of the actuator, a flow passage between the inlet and the outlet is blocked. The actuator is optionally a shape-memory actuator that can be actuated one time or comprises a shape-memory actuator, which suddenly changes its external shape upon reaching a conversion temperature, which is dependent on the alloy composition thereof, and which can be generated by a controllable electrical heating device of the valve assembly. The actuator irreversibly destroys a pipe element separating the inlet from the outlet in the working chamber upon actuation, whereby the inlet and the outlet are connected to one another with respect to flow via the working chamber.

Connection assembly, valve with connection assembly and method of connecting a wire to a crimp connector

A connection arrangement has a crimp connector and a wire fixed in place in it, the crimp connector having a first and a second clamping plate, both single pieces, which in an assembled state clamp the wire between them and fix the wire in place with a tensile strength force acting in a longitudinally axial direction. Inner surfaces of the first and second clamping plate face one another at least in the assembled state are executed in a first form in the preassembled state. The first and second clamping plate fit tightly with one another and are deformed in the assembled state with a tool into a second form differing from the first that the wire, due to the deformation of the first and second clamping plates, forms at least one wave. A related valve and a related method are also disclosed.
