Water loss detection and control system

A device for detecting water loss and consumption from commercial and residential commodes is provided. The device includes a water flow sensor and a shut-off assembly. The device has a controller that receives input from the flow sensor and sends a signal to the shut-off assembly whenever excess water flow is detected.

Fluid regulator with field convertible slam-shut device

Installing a fluid regulator in a fluid distribution system by: determining the position and orientation of the fluid regulator in the fluid distribution system; determining if a first opening and/or a second opening in the body of the regulator, are accessible with the fluid regulator in the determined position and orientation; installing the slam-shut device in the first opening, if accessible, and securing a plate over the second opening; and installing the fluid regulator in the fluid distribution system. The first and second openings are dimensioned such that the slam-shut device can be secured at least partially within the first opening in a first configuration and can be secured at least partially within the second opening in a second configuration.

INTEGRATED TRANSDUCER

A transducer for a connection to a fluid pressure source having a mechanism for setting a pneumatic output by way of an electrical input signal. The transducer provides a lower housing assembly and an upper housing assembly. The lower housing assembly comprises lower housing configured to receive a supply nozzle. The supply nozzle fluidly communicates with a supply port and intermittently fluidly communicates with an output port of the lower housing through an internal fluid passageway. The upper housing assembly comprises an upper housing configured to receive a coil and an armature such that the upper housing, coil and armature define a latching electromagnetic circuit that provides alternating contact of the armature with the supply nozzle of the lower housing assembly.

Solenoid initiator for compressed fluid source regulator valve assembly

A regulator valve assembly for a compressed fluid source may comprise a valve housing defining a main fluid channel, a secondary fluid channel, a primary outlet, a primary inlet, and a secondary inlet. A poppet may be located in the main fluid channel, The poppet may define a poppet channel and a poppet outlet. The poppet channel may be fluidly connected to the secondary inlet. A rod may be configured to translate in and out the poppet outlet. A pin may be biased toward the secondary fluid channel. The pin may be configured to translate into a translation path of the rod. A solenoid valve may be configured to control a flow of fluid into the secondary fluid channel.

Air shutoff swing gate valve

An air shutoff valve includes a passage for supplying air, a swing gate, a shaft attached to a reset handle, and a spring to urge the gate toward its closed position. A trigger assembly secures the shaft and gate in the open position and includes an actuator, a cam, and a rocker arm. A cam surface of the arm has a notch to receive a sear point of the cam. Movement of the handle against the spring causes the cam contact surface of the cam to follow the cam surface to cause the arm to rotate such that the sear point is received in the notch. Actuating the actuator causes the arm to pivot away from the cam such that the sear point is released from the notch, wherein the spring causes the shaft to move the gate to its closed position.

Electric generator for an aircraft, comprising a ventilation device with controlled opening

An electric generator for an aircraft includes a sealed casing, a rotating shaft, and a ventilation device, which has at least one orifice configured to place a chamber positioned inside the rotating shaft in communication with the exterior of the sealed casing. For at least one orifice, an inertia sealing system is configured to occupy an open state when the speed of rotation of the rotating shaft is below a given threshold, in which state the sealing system is spaced from the orifice, and a closed state when the speed of rotation of the rotating shaft is above the given threshold, in which state the sealing system seals the orifice.

SMART MAGNETIC VALVE WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS

A magnetic valve unit comprising a magnetic valve and an electronics for driving the magnetic valve. A pneumatic spring and a pneumatic spring system.

ACTUATOR FOR SOLENOID OPERATED VALVE
20180266583 · 2018-09-20 · ·

An actuator for use with an on/off solenoid configured to maintain a position corresponding to the energized state of the solenoid when the solenoid is de-energized. The actuator is comprised of a guide that rotates a selector between one of two positions each time the solenoid is energized. One position of the actuator places the selector in an extended position and the other position of the actuator places the selector in a retracted position. To move the selector between the first and second positions, the solenoid is momentarily energized, and in each position of the selector, the solenoid is de-energized. The actuator can be coupled to a poppet valve to maintain the valve in one of two positions when the solenoid is de-energized.
