Provided are a valve device free of changes in the position of the valve member caused by external force and fluid pressure, and a lock device for the valve device. The lock device has a tubular member fitted to the rotating part of the valve device so that the member is movable along the axis of the rotating part in both directions, wherein the member has a protrusion on its inner circumferential face along its axis, and the protrusion engages with or disengages from recesses in an outer circumferential face of a holder of the rotating part formed along its axis when the member moves in either direction; or the member has recesses in its inner circumferential face formed along its axis, and the recesses engage with or disengage from a protrusion on the outer circumferential face of the holder along its axis when the member moves in either direction.

Gas tap for a gas cooking appliance

According to one embodiment a gas tap is provided that includes a manually operable shaft having a first end coupled to a regulating element and a second end configured to be coupled to a knob that can be operated by a user. The shaft includes a first locking element, and the gas tap includes a second locking element. The shaft is rotational between an initial angular position and a final angular position, and is axially movable when it is arranged in the initial angular position between a first axial position in which the first locking element and the second locking element cooperate with one another, preventing the shaft from being able to rotate, and a second axial position in which the shaft is able to rotate. The user has to pull on the shaft in order to move it from the first axial position to the second axial position.

Hydraulic valve with adjustable locking device

A hydraulic valve includes a sliding control member that delimits at least one constantly adjustable diaphragm. The sliding control member is configured to be moved in the direction of a longitudinal axis. The hydraulic valve further includes a locking device with a locking member that is configured to be moved counter to the force of a first spring transversely relative to the longitudinal axis. The hydraulic valve further includes at least one catch contour in which the locking member is configured to be engaged in such a positive-locking manner that the sliding control member is releasably retained in a catch position that is associated with the respective catch contour. The position of at least one catch contour is constantly adjustable in such a manner that the free cross-sectional surface-area of the at least one diaphragm is constantly adjustable in the associated catch position.

Foldable handle for manually-operated quarter-turn valves

A valve handle for manually-operated quarter-turn valves, such as plug valves and ball valves, has two members which are hingedly attached, allowing an outwardly extending portion of the valve handle to be folded downwardly and against the valve body when the valve is in the closed position. A locking mechanism on the valve handle locks the handle in an operational position. When the lock is deactivated, the outwardly extending portion may be folded downwardly. The locking mechanism may have a clip portion which engages a stop on the valve body, which prevents the inadvertent opening of the valve when the outwardly extending portion is folded downwardly.

A device for filling or discharging a liquid includes an elongated body, a coaxial closure sleeve mounted axially on the main sleeve, wherein the main sleeve is slidable relative to the closure sleeve and the body and comprises an outlet end on its side remote from the body and an inlet end on the side closer to the body, facing the liquid inlet, at the inlet side the main sleeve has lateral surface outflow openings, a push-button for actuating the liquid outflow located at the outflow end of the device, located on the main sleeve at its outlet end side, which said push-button is non-rotatably mounted thereon, and between the main sleeve and the closure sleeve a sealing diaphragm, as well as the helical spring of the push-button are arranged. The liquid flows by axially displacing the push-button member.

HIGH PRESSURE HIGH FLOW DIGITAL VALVE WITH LOCKING POPPETS AND BACKFLOW PREVENTION

A valve that allows control of each of one or more flow paths using one actuator is presented. Rotary motion of a motor is transformed into linear motion using a roller screw mechanism. The travel of the roller screw nut is predefined between front and back hard stops that prevent the roller screw from rotating when the stops are reached. A poppet is attached to the nut using a flexible connection where a spring is compressed. The nut also drives a sleeve with inclined surfaces that moves relative to a locking flexure. When the sleeve is driven by the nut toward closing the valve, the sleeve deforms flanges of the locking flexure causing a cantilever end finger of the flexure to move radially and prevent the poppet from being pushed back. If the sleeve is moved farther in the direction of valve closing, a groove on the sleeve engages notches on the fingers creating a detent that prevents the spring to push the sleeve back.
