VALVE ASSEMBLY
20170335983 · 2017-11-23 ·

A valve assembly for controlling the release or delivery of a fire suppression medium from a vessel, the assembly comprising an inlet connectable to a pressurised vessel, an outlet connectable to a delivery device, a valve operable to selectively open or close fluid communication between the inlet and the outlet, an opening device for moving the valve from a closed condition to an open condition, first and second actuators and an environmental triggering device, wherein the opening device is operable, in use, remotely by the first actuator or manually by the second actuator or automatically by the environmental triggering device. A fire suppression system employing the above-described valve and a vehicle including the fire suppression system also form a part of this invention.

Multiple valve control assembly
11261995 · 2022-03-01 · ·

A multiple valve control assembly is described. The multiple valve control assembly includes a first cam/lever assembly to close a first valve, and a second cam/lever assembly to close a second valve. A first locking surface of the first cam/lever assembly, when the first cam/lever assembly is in the open position, physically blocks the rotation of the second cam/lever assembly. This provides for a pressure line to be closed by the first cam/lever assembly before the tank line can be closed by the second cam/lever assembly.

A plumbing fitting with an outer body having a flow path extending therethrough, an inner body disposed in, and axially movable along an axis relative to the outer body, and sealing configured to prevent leakage of fluid from the plumbing fitting is disclosed. The inner body has tracks and the outer body has projections that are movable. Each track has a primary, outer portion, a secondary central portion and a tertiary outer portion. The angle of inclination of the secondary central portion is greater than the angle of inclination of the primary outer portion and of the tertiary outer portion. The angle of inclination is relative to the axis of axial movement. The plumbing fitting is movable between a first sealing configuration in which the projections are arranged in the primary outer portions, and a second sealing configuration in which the projections are arranged in the tertiary outer portions.

Lock device and valve device

Provided are a valve device free of changes in the position of the valve member caused by external force and fluid pressure, and a lock device for the valve device. The lock device has a tubular member fitted to the rotating part of the valve device so that the member is movable along the axis of the rotating part in both directions, wherein the member has a protrusion on its inner circumferential face along its axis, and the protrusion engages with or disengages from recesses in an outer circumferential face of a holder of the rotating part formed along its axis when the member moves in either direction; or the member has recesses in its inner circumferential face formed along its axis, and the recesses engage with or disengage from a protrusion on the outer circumferential face of the holder along its axis when the member moves in either direction.

Hydraulic valve with adjustable locking device

A hydraulic valve includes a sliding control member that delimits at least one constantly adjustable diaphragm. The sliding control member is configured to be moved in the direction of a longitudinal axis. The hydraulic valve further includes a locking device with a locking member that is configured to be moved counter to the force of a first spring transversely relative to the longitudinal axis. The hydraulic valve further includes at least one catch contour in which the locking member is configured to be engaged in such a positive-locking manner that the sliding control member is releasably retained in a catch position that is associated with the respective catch contour. The position of at least one catch contour is constantly adjustable in such a manner that the free cross-sectional surface-area of the at least one diaphragm is constantly adjustable in the associated catch position.
