A flow control smart valve and a flow control system using the same, including an opening/closing unit disposed inside a flow path and selectively passing a fluid, and a drive unit coupled with the opening/closing unit to control a position of the opening/closing unit in the flow path.
COLOR CHANGING AND PRESSURE SENSING CHECK VALVES
A check valve includes an upper housing defining an inlet of the check valve, and a lower housing having a seating portion and defining an outlet of the check valve. The check valve further includes a chamber interposed between and defined by the upper and lower housings for fluidly connecting the inlet and the outlet, and a flexible diaphragm mounted in the chamber. The flexible diaphragm selectively permits fluid flow in a first direction, and prevents fluid backflow in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The flexible diaphragm includes a color changing material, and when the flexible diaphragm is seated on the seating portion and bent due to force of the fluid flowing in the first direction, the flexible diaphragm exhibits a color change.
DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR MEASURING THE STATE OF A VALVE, AND RELATED METHODS
A device for measuring a state of a valve may include a housing configured to connect to a handle of a valve or a body of a valve, a sensor supported on one of the housing or the valve stem, and an indicator detectable by the sensor. The indicator may be configured to move relative to the sensor in response to movement of a valve stem or valve handle during opening and closing of the valve. The sensor may be configured to detect a position of the indicator to determine a state of the valve. Related systems and methods are also described.
Valve torque control system and control method thereof
A torque control system is configured to automatically determine the fully open position and fully closed position of the valve without the need of manual operation of the valve. In addition, a control unit of the torque control system can obtain a control parameter based on a driving device operation signal detected by a detection unit, and output a control command to a driving unit to change an operation parameter of the driving device, so that the torque applying by the driving device on the valve can be adjusted, therefore the torque control system of the present application can accurately output the operating torque required by the valve, so that there is no circumstances that the operating torque is too large to damage the valve or the operating torque is too small to be unable to drive the valve.
Opening and closing handle, and valve device
An open/closed display handle for rotating a spindle of an open/closed valve mechanism of a valve device includes a handle main body having a handle-side gear that rotates about an axis of the spindle, a rotary display body having an open/closed display portion that displays an open/closed valve state and a display body-side gear, and a rotary fixed body that pivotally supports planetary gears. The planetary gears, the handle-side gear, and the display body-side gear form a differential rotation mechanism, and a visual recognition restricting body that covers the rotary display body and has openings that open to allow a portion to be displayed of the open/closed display portion to be visually recognized from an outside and a transparent cover body that covers an entire outer side of the visual recognition restricting body and is translucent to allow visual recognition from an outer side form the handle main body.
Pressure relief valve and method of relief valve opening detection
Systems and methods described herein provide for pressure relief valve detection and monitoring. A valve assembly includes a striker and an indicator assembly separated by a diaphragm. The diaphragm may be elastically or permanently deformable. The striker may be connected to a relieve valve disk that releases in response to high fluid pressure at the valve. Movement of the striker may be detected by contact with the diaphragm or by sensors near the diaphragm, which may trigger the indicator assembly to provide an external indication of a valve opening.
VALVE HAVING INTEGRATED SENSOR AND STABILIZED ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Rotary valve systems with integrated sensors are described that facilitate stabilizing electrical connection from a valve actuator. A valve system includes a rotary valve comprising one or more ports configured to receive one or more fluids. The valve system further includes an actuator attached to the rotary valve, wherein the actuator comprises a power connection fed from electronics associated with the actuator. The valve system further includes an actuator cap attached to the actuator, the actuator cap configured to allow the power connection to pass through, wherein the actuator cap comprises one or more apertures, a valve collar with an integrated press-on connector configured to be attached to the actuator cap, wherein the valve collar comprises an electronic feedthrough passage for the power connection, a retainer portion comprising one or more retainer pins, wherein the one or more retainer pins are configured to mate with the one or more apertures on the actuator cap, the retainer portion configured to allow electrical connection between the power connector and a sensor connector when the one or more retainer pins fit within the one or more apertures on the actuator cap, and a sensor housing adjacent to the rotary valve and configured to support one or more sensors disposed with respect to one or more fluid lines coupled to the one or more ports of the rotary valve, the sensor connector configured to transmit signals from the one or more sensors to the actuator.
FLOW PASSAGE SWITCHING VALVE, FLOW PASSAGE SWITCHING VALVE SYSTEM, AND LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH
A flowpath switch valve is configured for extended service life by spreading the region, of the sliding surfaces of a stator and a rotor, that is subject to wear over the entirety of the sliding surfaces. The stator has fixed stator flowpaths, and the rotor has rotor flowpaths. A flowpath switch valve, depending on the rotor rotation state, realizes connection patterns that include: a first connection pattern wherein a rotor flowpath 241 connects a fixed stator flowpath 31 and a fixed stator flowpath 32; a second connection pattern wherein the rotor flowpath 241 connects the fixed stator flowpath 31 and a fixed stator flowpath 36; a third connection pattern wherein a rotor flowpath 242 connects the fixed stator flowpath 31 and the fixed stator flowpath 32; and a fourth connection pattern wherein the rotor flowpath 242 connects the fixed stator flowpath 31 and the fixed stator flowpath 36.
FLOW CONTROL VALVE
A flow control valve adjusts an opening degree of a second channel by moving a needle valve in a first axis direction in accordance with a rotating operation amount of a knob provided at the first body, and includes a scale body, and a scale reading part that indicates the scale mark corresponding to the rotating operation amount of the knob, and a clutch mechanism that changes the scale mark of the scale body when the knob is rotated. The clutch mechanism includes an engaging portion, an engaged portion, and a clutch drive mechanism, and the scale reading part and the scale body rotate integrally when the engaging portion and the engaged portion are engaged. The clutch drive mechanism releases engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion when the knob is rotated and, after the scale mark is changed, re-engages the engaging portion with the engaged portion.
Fluid valve
A valve has flow trim assembly that can be quickly and efficiently removed and repaired or replaced. A body section having a central through bore defines an inlet, an outlet and inner chamber or space. An upstream cap and inlet hub are disposed at the inlet of the body member, while a downstream cap and outlet hub are disposed at the outlet of the body member. An actuator stem extends into the inner chamber, while a gear train can transfer torque force applied to the actuator stem to a rotator. A first (movable) trim member is attached to the rotator and can be selectively rotated relative to a second (fixed) trim member. The first and second trim members cooperate to adjust flow opening through the valve.
