An open/closed display handle for rotating a spindle of an open/closed valve mechanism of a valve device includes a handle main body having a handle-side gear that rotates about an axis of the spindle, a rotary display body having an open/closed display portion that displays an open/closed valve state and a display body-side gear, and a rotary fixed body that pivotally supports planetary gears. The planetary gears, the handle-side gear, and the display body-side gear form a differential rotation mechanism, and a visual recognition restricting body that covers the rotary display body and has openings that open to allow a portion to be displayed of the open/closed display portion to be visually recognized from an outside and a transparent cover body that covers an entire outer side of the visual recognition restricting body and is translucent to allow visual recognition from an outer side form the handle main body.

CONTROL OF POWER GENERATION SYSTEM BY VISUALLY MONITORING VALVE DURING OPERATION

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for controlling a power generation system, the method including: detecting a gauge measurement of an operating parameter while visually monitoring a gauge of the power generation system during operation of the power generation system; calculating an expected value of the operating parameter based on a library of modeling data for the power generation system; calculating whether a difference between the gauge measurement of the operating parameter and the calculated expected value of the operating parameter exceeds a predetermined threshold; and adjusting the power generation system in response to the difference exceeding the predetermined threshold, wherein the adjusting includes one of calibrating the gauge or modifying an operating setting of the power generation system.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE VALVE & FILTER SYSTEM INCORPORATING SAME
20200406171 · 2020-12-31 ·

A filter system with flow regulation includes a filter interposed along the fluid passageway and a differential valve in fluid series therewith. The valve may use the upstream reference hydraulic pressure at the filter inlet and a downstream hydraulic pressure thereof to generate a valve position that regulates fluid flow along the fluid passageway. This can partially restrict flow and reduce pressure differential across the filter system and effectively closes off flow through the system when pressure differential is high. This may be used in aircraft or other fueling applications to limit flow and cause the operator to change the fuel filter once fuel flow slows to a trickle when the differential valve effectively closes due to higher differential pressure. The valve is also capable of a fully closed position at high pressure differential state.

MANUFACTURE OF ACTUATORS AND CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLIES

An actuator for use in a control valve assembly that has a structure amenable to manufacture. The actuator may comprise a housing comprising a plurality of walls secured to one another with fasteners to form an interior cavity, a torque hub disposed in the interior cavity, the torque hub comprising a torque body and a torque arm that are releasably engaged with one another via fasteners, each of the torque body and the torque arm having interfacing geometry that defines surfaces that engage with opposing surfaces on the other; and a load generator coupled with the torque hub.

Automated thermal exchange system for autoclave sterilizer
10760853 · 2020-09-01 · ·

A system for condensing steam from an autoclave sterilizer includes a cooling tank and a condensing coil extending into the cooling tank. Cooling water from a source of water flows into the tank to cool the condensing coil when the temperature of the coolant in the cooling tank exceeds a predetermined value. A waste water drain is in fluid communication with the cooling tank. An air gap is located between the tank and the source of cooling water. The air gap includes an opening to atmospheric air and is configured to avoid back flow from a waste water drain toward the water source. A check valve may be used with or in lieu of an air gap to prevent back flow toward the water source.

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE AND METHOD OF RELIEF VALVE OPENING DETECTION
20200271240 · 2020-08-27 ·

Systems and methods described herein provide for pressure relief valve detection and monitoring. A valve assembly includes a striker and an indicator assembly separated by a diaphragm. The diaphragm may be elastically or permanently deformable. The striker may be connected to a relieve valve disk that releases in response to high fluid pressure at the valve. Movement of the striker may be detected by contact with the diaphragm or by sensors near the diaphragm, which may trigger the indicator assembly to provide an external indication of a valve opening.

Food article defect removal apparatus

A food article defect removal apparatus includes a manifold that defines one or more chambers for holding pressurized fluid. First channels extend from a first side of the manifold into fluid communication with the chambers. Second channels extend from the first side of the manifold to a second side of the manifold. Valves selectively connect corresponding first channels and second channels together to dispense the pressurized fluid from the manifold. The manifold can have an exterior wall that at least partially defines a first chamber and a second chamber, with an interior wall disposed between the first chamber and the second chamber. The interior wall can define the second channels. The valves can be included with a valve assembly, which includes a driver operably coupled with the valves. The valves can be pluggably coupled with the driver.

VALVE HANDLE LOCKING MECHANISM

A locking mechanism for a valve handle has a slider arranged to slide back and forth in a slot in the valve handle, between a lock position, in which the slider engages with a stop on the valve body and an unlock position, in which the slider does not engage with a stop. The slider is formed in two parts, which are inserted from opposite sides of the slot and snap fit together. The slider has indicia to indicate whether the slider is in the lock or unlock position, and the slider is arranged so as to cover the fastener which attaches the valve handle to the valve body.

VISUAL POSITIONING INDICATOR ASSEMBLY FOR LIMIT SWITCH BOXES
20200232580 · 2020-07-23 · ·

A visual position indicator assembly for limit switch boxes is provided. The indicator assembly has an indicator element configured to be fitted to a shaft of a driving assembly of a limit switch box, and the indicator element has a plurality of adjacent sectors featuring different colors and/or writings. The visual position indicator assembly further has a first mask and a second mask that are both provided with through apertures having the same size and arrangement and that are fitted coaxially to each other. One between the first mask and the second mask is rotatable with respect to the other one. Thanks to this configuration, it is possible to vary the angular width of the through apertures in order to adapt it to the real angular stroke of the indicator element.
