Fluid control apparatus, diagnostic method and program record medium for recording programs of fluid control apparatus

In order to accurately judge whether or not there is a seat leakage in the first valve and the second valve in a short period of time, a fluid control apparatus comprises a fluid resistor arranged in a flow channel, a first valve arranged upstream of the fluid resistor, a first pressure sensor that measures a pressure in a first volume between the first valve and the fluid resistor in the flow channel, a second valve arranged downstream of the fluid resistor, a second pressure sensor that measures a pressure in a second volume between the fluid resistor and the second valve, a valve controller that controls the first or second valve, and a seat leakage judging part that judges whether or not there is a seat leakage in the valve valves based on the pressure sensors in a state where the valves are fully closed.

Fluid valve apparatus

A valve having a flow trim assembly that can be quickly and efficiently removed and repaired or replaced. A body section having a central through bore that defines an inlet, an inner chamber or space, and two selectable outlets. Further the selectable outlets can direct flow in either a 90 degree “angle” orientation or at straight “in-line” orientation. An actuator stem extends into the inner chamber. A first (movable) trim member is attached to the rotator, and can be selectively rotated relative to a second (fixed) trim member. The first and second trim members cooperate to adjust flow opening through the valve. A valve bonnet that allows direct coupling of an actuator to the valve.

Gas Regulator Diaphragm-Position and Pressure-Relief Detection

Device(s) and techniques determine if a gas regulator supplying gas at a regulated pressure to a gas meter (e.g., the gas meter of a house or business) within a gas distribution system has one or more lock-up failure events or venting events, wherein gas is vented to the atmosphere. In an example, a sensor obtains information indicating a relative position of a stop stem of a gas regulator and a diaphragm pin of the gas regulator. As pressure increases within the regulator, the diaphragm pin moves toward and/or touches the stop stem. The gas pressure increase may result from debris in the regulator that prevents a valve from fully closing. A signal may be sent from the regulator and/or associated gas meter. The signal may contain information based at least in part on data from the sensor, and which may indicate a lock-up failure event or a venting event by the gas regulator.

Pilot actuator for actuating a control valve

A pilot actuator for controlling the operation of a control valve. The control valve can be part of a thy-type fire suppression sprinkler system in which the sprinkler piping network is filled with pressurized gas such as, for example, air, nitrogen, or another gas. The pilot actuator is a differential valve that actuates the control valve when the gas pressure in the sprinkler piping network is at or below a value for tripping or actuating the pilot valve to the open position. The actuator assembly defines a neutral chamber that is at an intermediate pressure in comparison to pressures at the inlet port and the measuring port when the pilot actuator is in a stand-by state.
