Cascaded controllable fluid control valve and valve trim for a fluid control valve
A fluid control valve having a body, a seat ring, a valve cage adjacent the seat ring, a first valve plug assembly positioned within the valve cage, and a second valve plug assembly positioned within an axial bore of the first valve plug assembly. The first valve plug assembly has radial apertures in fluid communication with the axial bore and a first valve plug including the axial bore and a throttling port in fluid communication with the axial bore. The first valve plug assembly is movable between a closed position, in engagement with the seat ring, and an open position, spaced apart from the seat ring. The second valve plug assembly has a second valve plug that is movable between a closed position, in engagement with the first valve plug, and an open position, spaced apart from the first valve plug.
Fluid throttling valve
A throttling valve that allows an operator to remove and replace the flow trim of the throttling valve without disassembling and/or removing the throttling valve from a flow line, and without removing an actuator, which eliminates the need to recalibrate said actuator. The throttling valve also allows drops in fluid pressure to be staged upstream and/or downstream of a main multi-port-disc trim within the same valve body to help prevent cavitation and freezing of fluids contained within the valve. The throttling valve also allows direct connection of actuators to a valve body.
RESERVOIR PURGE VALVE
A valve having an inlet, exhaust, control port, and diaphragm. The diaphragm moves between an open position, in which the inlet and exhaust are in fluid communication, and a closed position, in which the diaphragm blocks fluid from flowing between the inlet and the exhaust. The diaphragm moves from the closed position to the open position when an inlet force due to pressure at the inlet is greater than the sum of the biasing force and a control port force due to pressure at the control port. The valve is operable to automatically drain contaminants from a vehicle air reservoir when the vehicle's emergency brakes are set. To reduce noise, the diaphragm of the valve is preferably in tension when in the closed position, and/or the diaphragm opens a limited distance when in the open position so that a back pressure is generated at the inlet.

VALVE TRIM APPARATUS FOR USE WITH CONTROL VALVES
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture for valve trim apparatus for use with control valves are disclosed. An example valve trim apparatus for use with a fluid valve includes a cage positioned in a fluid flow passageway of a valve body, the cage including a primary valve seat and a secondary valve seat; and a valve plug slidably positioned within the cage, the valve plug including a primary sealing surface to sealingly engage the primary valve seat and a secondary sealing surface to sealingly engage the secondary valve seat, the primary sealing surface adjacent to a first end of the valve plug and the secondary sealing surface spaced away from the primary sealing surface along a longitudinal axis of the valve plug toward a second end of the valve plug, the valve plug having a first portion extending from the primary sealing surface toward the secondary sealing surface to form a flow restricted passage between an inner surface of the cage and the first portion, the valve plug having a second portion extending from the first portion to the secondary sealing surface to form a recovery plenum between the second portion and the inner surface of the cage, wherein a first diameter of the first portion is less than a second diameter of the second portion.
Regulator with convertible trim assembly
A regulator includes a body, a first cage positioned in the body, a diaphragm positioned within the body, and a second cage operatively connected to the diaphragm. The body has an inlet, an outlet, and a passage formed between the inlet and the outlet and the first cage is positioned adjacent the passage. The second cage moves with the diaphragm and is positionable on a first side of the diaphragm, opposite the first cage, or on a second side of the diaphragm such that the second cage is positioned within the first cage and is movable relative to the first cage.
