BRACKET FOR POSITIONING AND PROTECTING PIPES IN CONCRETE
A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.
SUPPORT BEAM FOR COOLING TOWER FILL ASSEMBLY
A support beam for a cooling tower fill assembly includes a web, an upper flange, a lower flange, and a lip. The web has a serpentine shape so a lower end of the web is vertically offset relative to an upper end. The upper flange extends from a first side of the web at the upper end thereof. The lower flange has a first portion extending from the first side at the lower end thereof and a second portion extending from a second side at the lower end thereof. The lip extends upwardly from the second portion so the lip cooperates with the second portion and a portion of the web to form a longitudinal channel. The lip and the second portion are provided with a plurality of spaced apart notches.
Sprinkler drop bracket for intersecting downlight
Provided herein is a snap-to-grid bracket assembly for use with a fire suppression device. In one approach, a fire sprinkler support assembly includes a suspension frame coupled at an intersection of multiple (e.g., four) ceiling grid support elements, and a bracket assembly coupled to the suspension frame and to the plurality of ceiling grid support elements. The bracket assembly may include a main body coupled to the suspension frame, and a support arm extending laterally from the main body. The support arm may include seating members coupled a ceiling grid support element. The fire sprinkler support assembly may further include a sprinkler drop coupled to the support arm, the sprinkler drop and/or sprinkler head extending through the main body and into the suspension frame. The sprinkler support assembly may be a retrofit solution that couples to an existing suspension frame of a downlight fixture.
Directional maintaining apparatus for flexible conduit
A bendable support insert includes a coiled based portion and a malleable elongated portion. The malleable elongated portion is perpendicularly connected to the coiled based portion from an end. The bendable support insert is sized to be applicable for existing flexible conduit tubing so that an adapting device is able to internally connect the bendable support insert within the flexible conduit tubing. The insertion and placement of the bendable support insert permits the flexible conduit tubing to be configured according desired layout. Additionally, the bendable support insert maintains the user-define configuration throughout the lifespan of the assembly.
Magnetic holster for hand held beverage dispensers
A holster for mounting a bar gun to a surface, the bar gun having a nozzle and a handle magnet. The holster has an elongated mounting plate having a top side, bottom side, first end and second end, and an aperture located between the first end and second end where the aperture penetrates the mounting plate from the top side to the bottom side and is configured to receive the nozzle of the bar gun. A holster magnet is fixed to the mounting plate adjacent the aperture between the aperture and the second end.
CONNECTION DEVICE FOR PIPES IN GENERAL
A connection device for pipes, of a type comprising a hose-holder (18) mounted on an end portion (3) of the pipe, a hose-holder (16) mounted on the other end portion (6) of the same pipe and an element (15) for the connection of said hose-holders (16,18) consisting of a substantially tubular body having a longitudinal hole (30) therethrough, wherein said element (15) comprises a circulating ball portion (17) for the connection to one (16) of said hose-holders. The device has the advantage that no connection threads having a shoulder protruding on the pipe surface and capable of damaging it are required.
Method and Device for Positioning Components on a Cable
A method of positioning a component on a cable. The method includes: moving a collet into position on the component; engaging the component with the collet; moving the collet with the component positioned thereon into alignment with an end of the cable; securing the collet to the end of the cable; moving the component from the collet to the cable; and removing the collet from the end of the cable.
Pipe retainer
A pipe retainer assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a mount including one of a slot and a projection, and a pipe retainer including a latch and the other of a slot and a projection. The slot is received in the projection and the latch is engaged with the mount. The assembly further includes a fluid conduit held in place by the mount and the pipe retainer. A method is also disclosed.
Method and device for positioning components on a cable
A device and method of positioning a component on a cable. The method includes: moving a collet into position on the component; engaging the component with the collet; moving the collet with the component positioned thereon into alignment with an end of the cable; securing the collet to the end of the cable; moving the component from the collet to the cable; and removing the collet from the end of the cable.
