Bracket interlock systems
A method of operating safety mechanism includes extending a safety pin to block a poppet from opening a flow path from a pressure vessel in the event of the pressure vessel being unmounted from a bracket or in the event of the bracket being unmounted from a support structure. The method includes retracting the safety pin to allow free movement of the poppet for opening the flow path only in the event of the pressure vessel being mounted to the bracket and the bracket being mounted to a support structure.

HOUSING FOR SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Described herein generally are housings used to store safety equipment. In some embodiments, the housings can store fire extinguishers, and comply with the American Disabilities Act guidelines.
Door barricade
Barricade devices and methods of barricading a door are disclosed. Such devices and methods may be used to barricade a door, and thereby prevent an intruder from entering a sheltering space, such as a classroom, storeroom, or hallway. The barricade-device may have a pivotable stop-device that is pivotable from a location adjacent to a door. The pivot-location may be at an elevation that is lower than a door handle on the door. The stop-device may be pivotable from a reserve-position to a stop-position. In the reserve-position, the stop-device does not barricade the door. In the barricade-position, the stop-device barricades the door. Operation of the barricade-device may require the use of one or more major muscle groups of the body, but need not require precise dexterity of the fingers or hands (e.g. such as that required to manipulate small keys, latches, and/or the grasping and turning of assemblies). As such, the barricade-device may be used properly and quickly by a wide range of people having differing physical and mental capabilities.
Cartridge weight monitoring
A cartridge monitoring assembly for detecting a weight of a cartridge, a fire suppression system for incorporating the same, and a method of detecting a weight of a cartridge installed within a fire suppression system are provided. The cartridge monitoring assembly includes a support bracket for securing a cartridge containing a pressurized gas to the cartridge monitoring assembly, and at least one weight sensor for detecting the weight of the cartridge. The cartridge monitoring assembly enables the comparison of the weight of a cartridge installed within the fire suppression system with a previously calculated full weight value to determine a weight variance of the cartridge installed within the fire suppression system.
SAFETY SYSTEM FOR FIRE SUPPRESSANT DISTRIBUTION DEVICES
A fire suppressant discharge device is disclosed for connection to a mounting frame 30 and/or to fire suppressant distribution pipework 26. The device comprises an electrical firing circuit 20 configured to cause fire suppressant to be discharged from a discharge valve if triggered, and at least one arming switch 24 in the firing circuit 20 that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The arming switch 24 is arranged on the device and configured so as to be automatically moved to the closed position by connection of the device to a mounting frame 30 and/or to fire suppressant distribution pipework 24 so as to arm the firing circuit 20.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER STAND
A fire extinguisher stand has two panels and a platform hinged at an intermediate portion of each of the two panels such that the two panels are configured for moving between a first position with an upper end of each of the two panels together and a lower end of each of the two panels apart; and a second position with the upper end of each of the two panels apart and the lower end of each of the two panels pivoted towards each other for positioning the stand in an upright position.
