What is disclosed is an improved portable fire extinguisher adapted for persons with disabilities that for one reason or another are unable to effectively use two arms and hands to handle a standard portable fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher is comprised of the standard main components for a portable fire extinguisher; that is, a gas cylinder, a discharge locking seal and pin, a discharge valve and actuating lever, and a discharge hose/nozzle; plus several hardware enhancements that make it easier for a user to don and use the improved fire extinguisher when the user can only use one hand and/or arm. Those hardware enhancements include an upper-handle actuator-extension member with a large vertical torso-engagement area, pivotable stabilizer arms, a cylinder-mounted retaining strap/collar, neck-strap-anchors and neck strap, a pivotable discharge hose/tube sleeve, and a pivotable stop member for preventing inadvertent actuation.

Improvements to a portable fire extinguisher where the improvements relate to a system where the owner of the extinguisher can monitor and maintain their fire protection. The improvements also include integration of technology into the fire extinguisher for real-time information of the status around the extinguisher, pre-recorded instructions in one or multiple languages. The technology can also include bi-directional communication whereby a user can communicate to a distant operator. With the inclusion of a speaker the fire extinguisher can provide safety and public service announcements using a wireless WiFi communication network without requiring separate speakers to be wired and connected throughout a building.

A health and safety unit according to the present disclosure can include a vertically arranged panel having a first side and a second side opposite the first side and a mounting structure for movably mounting the panel to a housing. The panel can define a plurality of pockets extending through the first and second sides. Each of the plurality of pockets can be dimensioned to receive and support one or more items for storing within the housing. The panel, when movably mounted to the housing by the mounting structure, can be movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the panel and any items received therein are enclosed within the housing in the first position, and wherein the panel and any items received therein are accessible in the second position such that the one or more items can be removed from the plurality of pockets for use.

A health and safety unit according to the present disclosure can include a vertically arranged panel having a first side and a second side opposite the first side and a mounting structure for movably mounting the panel to a housing. The panel can define a plurality of pockets extending through the first and second sides. Each of the plurality of pockets can be dimensioned to receive and support one or more items for storing within the housing. The panel, when movably mounted to the housing by the mounting structure, can be movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the panel and any items received therein are enclosed within the housing in the first position, and wherein the panel and any items received therein are accessible in the second position such that the one or more items can be removed from the plurality of pockets for use.

A quick release equipment mount includes a support module secured to a fixture such as a wall or pipe and a number of item modules, each of which can attach to an item of equipment such as a fire extinguisher for quick release. The item modules can have two pair of vertically spaced apart hooks which engage two pair of commensurately spaced apart posts extending laterally from an elongated vertical tongue extending from the support module. The hooks are formed on a pair of rails spaced to form a groove slidingly engaged by the tongue. Item modules can have different item interfacing segments for securing in various manners to various types of equipment items while all having similar support module interfacing segments capable of quick release mounting to the support module.

The server includes storage to receive and store the positional information from the autonomous mobile object, a commander to send the operation command to the autonomous mobile object, and a receiver to receive information relating to an emergency report including a target location. When the receiver receives the information relating to the emergency report, the commander sends an emergency operation command to the autonomous mobile object located in a specific area including the target location. The emergency operation command causes the autonomous mobile object to capture an image of the target location, and the autonomous mobile object sends the image to the server.
