DUCTS WITH INFORMATION MODULES AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The present inventive concept includes a duct system and method for using same to map and locate ducts. A preferred embodiment of the duct system includes a duct, a plurality of electronic information modules and an oversheath at least partially covering the plurality of information modules and fixing the information modules to the duct. The plurality of information modules are configured to emit a positional signal to enable location of the information modules and associated duct(s) and/or mapping of the duct system.

COLUMN-ATTACHING DEVICE AND FERRULE SET
In a state in which a ferrule 10 is sandwiched and fixed between a ferrule receiving part 20 and a ferrule pressing part 30, the ferrule 10 is urged toward the ferrule receiving part 20 side by an urging member 33. With this structure, without configuring such that the ferrule pressing part is screwed in the ferrule receiving part by rotating several times, the ferrule 10 can be pressed toward the ferrule receiving part 20 side by a sufficient pressing force by the urging force of the urging member 33. Therefore, the attaching work of the column 2 can be performed more easily.

Flow control valve
A flow control valve includes a resin housing body, a valve member, a retainer plate, a drive unit, and a protective wall. The resin housing body is substantially cylindrical. The valve member axially moves back and forth in the housing body to regulate a flow rate of a liquid. The retainer plate is fastened to the housing body at a position axially outward from the bearing to retain the bearing in the housing body. The drive unit drives the valve stem at a position outward from the bearing to move the valve member back and forth. The protective wall surrounds an outer circumferential surface of the housing body at a position radially outward from a portion of the housing body that receives the bearing to form an air layer portion between the protective wall and the outer circumferential surface of the housing body.

EXHAUST ADAPTER, EXHAUST STRUCTURE FOR WATER HEATER, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING EXHAUST ADAPTER
An exhaust adapter secures an exhaust tube relative to an exhaust pipe. The exhaust adapter is formed to have an annular shape enclosing a through hole, and is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the exhaust tube and on the inner peripheral surface of the exhaust pipe by inserting the exhaust tube into the through hole. When the exhaust adapter is being fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the exhaust tube, the inner peripheral surface of the exhaust adapter presses the outer peripheral surface of the exhaust tube, and when the exhaust adapter is being fitted on the inner peripheral surface of the exhaust pipe, the outer peripheral surface of the exhaust adapter presses the inner peripheral surface of the exhaust pipe.

CONDUIT PLUG FOR PROTECTING ELECTRICAL WIRES
A sealant assembly for sealing a conduit, the conduit carrying electrical wires, between inside and outside of an enclosure such as a railroad control box. The sealant assembly may include a plug dimensioned for an interference fit with the conduit and with a bore in a body thereof. The body of the plug may have a slot allowing one to open the bore for inserting electrical wires thereinto. A sealant such as a cure-in-place polymer mix or a cured tape may be used to fill the conduit around the electrical wires. Such a sealant assembly will help keep moisture and harmful critters such as mice, from getting into the enclosure.
